I had to disagree with many of the people who said it was for kids or they wasted too much money on it. My sister who is 21 & My mom who's in her 40s laughed a lot at this movie. Especially about the scheming cat Mr Tinkles who is tortured by the crazy housekeeper. We laughed a lot mostly because it made us think of our pets who are just as hilarious. Actually that same week I had seen Dr. Dolittle 2 & sure it was better than the first but I found it quite boring & I barely did as much as a chuckle while watching it. But I did have to say the young boy definetly could've done better. I did notice the dog Lou went back and forth between a girl & a boy. But there are certain reasons for that. I just think that obviously the people who thought it was horrible either exagerated or they have a horrible sense of humor.
I have to say some of Nickelodeon's shows have been pretty pointless like Cat Dog, Rocket Power, The Brand new Kimi added to rugrats, & The fairly Oddparents. But, once I saw Invader Zim previews I thought well it sorta looks interesting because I atleast should watch one episode before I judge the show. Well after I watched fairly oddparents before that I said "Oh no don't tell me they'll have two stupid new shows on now!"I turned out to be laughing my head off with every episode! But, I think the show wouldn't be the same without Gir.I came to love him when he first sang "The Doom Song". Of course it's not just him it's the horribly non-educated towns people & the psychopathic teacher. You'd have to see the show!
I love the show in fact it's one of my favorites. Maybe this is just because I have major crush on Jake Epstein & Robert Clarke but anyway (hehe) it's great for pre-teens & young teens ( such as 11-14). Well check it out sometime!
