After watching season 1 with interest because of the novel approach to serious topics, I had some expectations about season 2 and let me tell you, it blew my expectations off the charts. The 6 episodes have an interesting continuity that takes you from "what's this" to "is this even real?"
The topic of this season was a thousand times more serious than season 1, and you are drawn into questioning the next flight you take.
Episode 6 is must see TV. The twist is worthy of an scripted series and its production is impeccable. From the storyline to the sound track sung by the winner of the contest, it's Emmy material.
Refreshing and engaging TV. Absolutely recommended.

I have been a WTW follower from day one and a decent football follower all my life. I say "what does this series have to five me that I haven't seen or know". And then, boom, episode 1 of the season comes and blows my mind.
I learned more about professional football in these 60 minutes than I have learned in my whole life. Again the narrative is flawless, with serious and funny topics coming to you as a freight train.
Funny enough, we know the end of the story but we don't have a clue about the journey.
In the pitch, Wrexham did what no team has done in the history of professional football in England. This series promise to be THE ultimate guide to know how this miracle actually happened. My seat belt is well adjusted and here we go.

Not a big fan of the series but I watch it as family time.
But this episode was quite nice actually. The telenovela drama happening in previous episodes came to a fine conclusion over serious topics that many of us relate to.
The actors played it very well and the writing was not deep but left you with something.
Interesting use of back stories that we didn't know about and how it shaped the characters.
This is your typical feel-well series, not pretending to be more than what it is. But somehow this episode made us care about the characters.
It also helps they left the crazy medical stuff behind and created a small, believable story.
