It doesn't matter how good or how great the directors are ... The script is one big mess. I have no problem with the acting and with the direction, but the story is just boring. I don't wanna give anything away, but it's just robots running around beating chatter up in the future I guess in an alternate universe where robots almost took over the world. The storyline is nothing new even the visuals are boring. Even the actions are boring. If this was shown in the movie theaters I think a lot of people would've been really pissed off to pay for a piece of crap like this. I was hoping to see something fun with lots of action you know just enjoying the weekend with some popcorn but gosh, this was really painful to watch since I watched this with my wife I let her finish the film. She's not a picky film critic, but even even her she thinks this is a crappy film. I'm sorry to the directors and to the actors, but this really stinks.

I don't know, but why does Hong Kong always make these crime films? It's been over done so many many times why can't they take note from Korean Cinema? These Hong Kong crime drama is such an old genre that nobody watches any more. They over done it and it's becoming boring typical of Hong Kong to make these kind of crime films which nobody really cares for. Why waste good talent with these films. I'm serious, every film coming out of Hong Kong and China has just been really stale. The ideas are stale and the this film is stale. I wish they rethink about their way of filmmaking. The next wave is Korean cinema which is refreshing and full of surprises. I hope they learn a lesson from it! Stop making pointless cop drams that nobody watches or cares about!!!

I don't know what's up with the low scores and bad reviews, but this is a great thriller/sci - fi. I'm not a big fan of Alien films, but this and Prometheus makes curious for more. In fact after watching this, I might just go back and watch the first Alien film to see the connection. People need to chill out. Ridley Scott did an excellent fleshing out these story lines to make sense of it. The development of David is ridiculous, but aren't most sci-fi over the top? This film deserves a better rating!
