Like the willing suspension of disbelief required when viewing a sci-fi film you need to be willing to watch this political thriller in the same manner. Suspend all disbelief in reality and just enjoy the performances of a good cast. The storyline is annoying and derivative. But De Niro is, as always, worth your time. Joan Allen, Matthew Modine and Angela Basset make this worth your time. But Dan Stevens is such a chameleon that his performance stands out even in such exalted company.

I like endings with some closure. This series comes close but isn't exactly satisfying with its conclusion. With the need to suspend your expectations of realistic, politics, cyber security and character development I would like to have gotten some schadenfreude at the conclusion. But it's a personal perspective that other viewers may not share.

Hospitalize this woman. She is in dire need of help. The media executives, fans and viewers all need to revisit their agendas for producing and viewing this show. It's sad and pathetic. And clearly opportunistic exploitation of a very sick person. It's horrifying to see a demented individual get propped up and allowed to exhibit the loss of cognitive ability. Hopefully she is so far gone that she doesn't realize it herself. Making money off of the frailty and loss of brain function should be illegal. Too bad these seriously ill celebrities get abused like this and are put on display for improper purposes. Is it simple greed, retaliation or outright incompetence? Likely all of the above.
