Jalan Pulang, in my opinion, is a strong and bold Indonesian horror film. The atmosphere is intense, the gore is graphic, and the performances by Shareefa and Saskia really stand out. The spiritual elements and local culture are presented naturally, making the story feel authentic and highly relatable. Unfortunately, the plot feels a bit rushed, even though the premise is already intriguing and could have been explored further. That said, the jump scares and tension remain consistent throughout. The ending doesn't quite hit as hard as it could have, but it's wrapped up with a haunting and emotional soundtrack that gives chills. Overall, this film is definitely worth watching. Score: 10/10.
