Can't believe they expect these to be so lengthy... well right to it.

TWISTED METAL ladies and gentlemen.

A new show that has almost nothing to do with its source material TWISTED METAL. Without being based on which this might actually be better.

Right from the beginning, the whole thing feels half assed and cheap... someone taking a beloved, intellectual IP and trying to milk it while throwing in their own ideas and creative tweaks to bring something they know nothing about to a modern audience...

I mean that really about sums it up, yeah. You can probably sum it up with this analogy. " think mad Max with a twisted metal theme"

One thing I hate about giving this such low ratings is I really do think Mackie did some good work here... John's not black but whatever Mackie made that role his and I don't have any complaints with it in this franchise. John Doe could really be anybody. But they did one thing which is a big no-no for me and it's the reason I hated the Mortal Kombat movie... The new one. Introducing a brand new character as a lead right from the beginning.... Nope. And that also kills me because I really enjoyed the performance of the lead actress... But she's not a character in twisted metal. They straight so far from what makes twisted metal twisted metal... It's a set of Faustian tales centered around a demolition Derby with weaponry. That's what twisted metal is. It's literally exactly like Mortal Kombat. The tournament is called Mortal Kombat. But no Hollywood decided we needed female empowerment, and some LGBT references and yada yada yada.... But the show really shouldn't have been a comedy to begin with.

All that being said... There's enough fun here for me to be willing to continue to give it a chance into a second season and perhaps further if they keep it interesting... but you gotta respect the source material man... it's not just some stupid video game to us... The people that love it. It was oh so deliciously evil and oh so sweet... The one enormous praise I have to at least give the first season was sweettooth... both the physical performance, and will Arnett's vocal work put together were a tour force. He was about the only thing that held this together.

I can't believe Demi Moore would do something like this. And I mean that with all respect, I've always enjoyed Demi's work... But this was... Whoa. In a very good way, but holy freaking God.... I just watched this. I'd been working my way to it.

If you're a fan of body horror you're gonna love it, effed up movies gunna love it, faustian tales...gunna love it. People gripe about the ending, but I mean come on count The ending as one big finale and that is pretty effing wild.

😅 I'm sure there is poetic and intellectual things to say about it...all artsy fartsy. But ultimately it was just a fun horror movie keep it at face value, and you will have quite a blast. Good work by both the lead actresses. Didn't like every plot point, but wasn't my art. What they ultimately delivered I gotta say was super fun, twisted, grotesquely funny.

Memory serves correct. It's pretty entertaining. The ending is a little weird. But what I find even stranger is, I am not able to locate it anywhere online like it doesn't exist the title exists. There's a scene from it that exists but it's like every other remnant of a trace of it has just disappeared. I can't find it anywhere and honestly I can't even get a consensus on the title, which I know is correct right here, but the rest of the net will not acknowledge this is the title it doesn't really acknowledge the movie existing because I can't even find one extra bit other than. The Teri Weigel Madison lez in the shower scene.... 😏 Anyone know where to find it ?
