How would you describe yourself?
I was an eligibility worker for L.A. County for around 4 years. Then I transferred to Probation and worked in a juvenile hall, McClaren Hall in El Monte, CA. Then we bought the store in 1980. I'm 270,000 words into my autobiography-family saga-true crime-woman's story. It's perhaps 80% done. I live in a lovely, quiet sort of rural area. No crime. Well virtually no crime. There's a picture of the Kern River Valley on my web page. Lake Isabella is the center of it, and this area has been the location for many films. The Kernville Museum has a room dedicated to films made here. In Mad, Mad World, Phil Silvers drove that beautiful Ford convertible into the Kern River not far from here. The stagecoach from Stagecoach is in the museum. I'm a good, very honest, gentle, romantic, and caring person. I definitely like to cuddle, and looooong kisses. And I do think I have a great sense of humor. My mother, my uncle, my father and my brother Larry are/were standup comics. I'm not that good, but I can tell some corny jokes. There are very few eligible females around here and I am really lonely. I'm financially independent. I've been married twice, have 3 grown children. I majored in history into my 3rd year at CalState L.A. I sold my 7-Eleven store and moved here in October, 1989. I retired at age 54 and have never looked back. I love to travel, and have a nice Airstream trailer. I help with cooking, dishes, laundry, and vacuuming. I handle the trash, and maintain the cars.
