Since i'm going to be a Royal Marine Commando, this movie was very appealing. Not just for it's hardcore violence (Which I like), but also for the fact that my mother named me after the star of the film, Lewis Collins, which i'm pretty chuffed about.
Their has never been a movie that comes this close to showing the general public the SAS, their training, and their skills, which makes the movie so damn good.
One thing that i was a bit disappointed about, was the fact that if they had made the film 3 years later (1985), they (At the start when their in the mountains in Wales) would have been using the SA80 rifle, which is much cooler than the one they were using in the movie (The FN-FAL or something like that).
An overall wicked movie that I would recommend to anybody that's interested in the military, and who loves guns and violence!!!!!!

The Simpsons, yeah The Simpsons, is the greatest cartoon in history. From the brain of Matt Groening, it'll never be lower in the ranks than 3. The Simpsons is clearly the best cartoon in the world. Every show is different and they get funnier every time. All the characters are great and ingeniously funny, but the funniest is Homer. His dumbness is a boost for his character. Bart is funny but his acts of childish villany get a bit boring when you watch them over and over. Homer on the other hand allways has something new to make us p*ss our selves laughing with, or something pathetic to cry about like "He's missing the chili cookoff!!!" or "Marge, where's christmas?" Hopefully The Simpsons will run forever, but if it doesn't, congrats to Matt on a job well done.
George Lucas's film The Phantom Menace seemed good at the time, but after Attack Of The Clones was released it looked like a big disappointment. The acting, special effects and basically the whole plot seemed at least 10 times better. Anyone agree? And the bit where Yoda turns out to be an amazing acrobat was pure genius. You wouldnt expect it from a 500+ year old impish green dwarf, would you? But Mr Lucas did in my opinion, go a little overboard when he decides to have Jango Fett killed by Mace Windu while his son was watching. Seeing your fathers head been sliced off isn't very nice for a 7/8/9 year old child.(Boba Fett) I end by saying: "Go and see this movie. It is the best of the lot so far and it can appeal to everyone who likes a SciFi/Romance/Adventure film."
