My brother was very interested in this ep of "South Park" and so was I after all the brouhaha it caused for the current administration, that's for sure! In a nutshell, The Donald is sue happy and has a tiny...well, you know! Satan doesn't want to bed him and Cartman wants to end it all because "woke" is dead. I'll just say the whole thing was hilarious! And all because of what "60 Minutes" did as well as Colbert's cancellation related to CBS's settling the president's lawsuit against them. If my brother tapes any more eps, I'll probably watch and review them here as well, that's for sure!
This was yet another of the Hey Fellas! Kid comedy shorts made during the silent era meant to capitalize on the successful Hal Roach Rascals/Our Gang series. It begins with the kids playing baseball until a cop chases them. Then they see a fire engine and suddenly, they do their own makeshift operation. One of the girls was cooking something when the stove gets heated. I'll just now say there are some amusing gags but nothing hilarious. The version I saw had some stock music with intact intertitles which were provided by Pinto Colvig, who later voiced the Disney cartoon character Goofy. So on that note, 13th Alarm is worth a look if you're interested in this sort of thing.
This was yet another of the series entries of a kid comedy rival of Hal Roach's Rascals/Our Gang shorts series called Hey Fellas! The leader is Cliff Daniels the brother of OG's Mickey Daniels. He and his friends see a billboard for a circus which inspires them to make their own. A rival gang attends. I'll just now say there are some funny gags involving liquid squirting at some faces. Also, one of the black kids is playing a wild native that might give one pause in this day and time. Another scene that did involved another black boy who was temporarily taken up by a bunch of helium balloons. I saw a 10-minute version on YouTube with most of the intitles taken out. Credited for writing those was a Pinto Colvig, later to be the voice of Goofy. This was worth a look with some amusing gags and nothing else.
