Thank you, God, for letting me see and hear Makayla's voice through her documentary. May it help all of us to see that autism is not ignorance, it just requires the affected to find their way to communicate, while the rest of us learn to be more patient and try to better understand those with a neurodiversity.
Makayla, I bless you with a rich increase of God's almighty good, in your mind, in your body, and in your spirit.
Makayla, you fill a place in this world that could be filled by no other. For His reasons alone, you are a gift to be unwrapped, understood and enjoyed.
Makayla, you are a channel for God's love, intelligence and wisdom.
God blesses us always. Thank you, God.

This movie is just, to me, great. I have been watching westerns since the 1950s; so I guess you can say I've almost seen them all...all the ones considered great, for sure. In recent years, I've really liked Deadwood and Hell on Wheels (good westerns just faded away for many, many years, and those are the only two that come to mind as coming close to standing out). Godless has such a beautiful ending from when Roy Goode rides off. The music at the very end when Roy has reached his destination is beautiful. Then the screen blackens suddenly and the credits start to roll....listen very closely for the soft sound the plays then; such a great choice...kudos to whomever did the score. I don't buy many DVDs; but I will own this set because I know it will get better with every viewing over the months and years. A keeper, for sure. Sorry I'm not a good reviewer, but the movie touched me so I had to write something.
Six-hundred characters to give my opinion of any movie is beyond understanding. Readers might be influenced by just a few words, or many. Seems like I would have to explain the movie to you to use so many words. How can I do that? Why should I be forced to try? It should be enough that I, being a person who can enjoy many stories made into movies, and have watched thousands of them over my long life, have a simple opinion that is only mine. My experience has been that, as with reading books, you have to experience a lot of them to run into the ones that truly touch you. "Where the Crawdads' Sing" did just that, almost perfectly. R.
