Did you ever hear the cover of "Bad to the Bone" by George Thorogood? That's where the title came from. Season 1 of "The Rig" was mediocre but watchable. However, Season 2 is unbelievably lousy. The pacing is excruciatingly slow, seemingly to extend the episode time unnecessarily. The plot lacks depth, and the characters fail to develop in any meaningful way. The suspense that kept viewers somewhat engaged in the first season is entirely absent in the second. The special effects and cinematography also leave much to be desired. I would not recommend watching it unless you have absolutely nothing else to watch.
Grotesquerie: A Symbolic Nightmare
I'm not entirely sure how to categorize "Grotesquerie." It isn't strictly a horror series; rather, it feels very symbolic. It reflects the continuous nightmare the world, especially the United States, is living in. The acting is brilliant from all the actors, with each performance adding depth to the story. The idea itself is good, but the execution wasn't as strong. I blame the script and the director for this. Additionally, there is too much violence, which can be overwhelming. Overall, I did like the series and I'm waiting for another season if there will be one. I give it a 7 out of 10.

Okay, I kind of like this show. Glenn Close is at her best. Actually, I'm watching it because of the events in NYC, my beloved place, and also because I have nothing else to watch. Anyway, I have only one question which I need its answer badly before I go lunatic. Is there something wrong with the order of the episodes and the end of some events comes before the beginning of it? Or do we have an extra genius director and screenwriter?"
Now i just learned from Bing that Damages is well known for its nonlinear storytelling and it's part of its charm.
It isn't a charm at all, it's a B. S. and i hate when one director directs for himself.
