This is supposedly based on the French series "Le Bureau des Légendes" which was one of the best series of any genre in any country ever to hit television.
Unfortunately, something got "lost in translation" here. My review is only based on episode one because for me there is no episode two. Why?
The plot, if there is one, is incoherent. All I'm getting is a lot of scene setting, character exposition, all cliches by the way and psychobabble. I know these actors are all famous but to be honest, I don't really give a hoot what happens to any of them.
The "love" between 2 characters which presumably is a thread that will run through the series, is totally unbelievable. Passionless. In the original series this plot element had the audience drawn in immediately.
All the cat and mouse stuff, similarly, is almost random and poorly done. Do I really care who gets caught and who gets away.
Feel free to read all the reviews and draw your own conclusions. For me, this Agency is has been closed for failing in its mission.

Do you remember the 1964-65 World's Fair? This very comprehensive documentary is more than mere nostalgia. Sure it evokes many memories and emotions but, it's also a look at a point in our cultural and economic history.
The World's Fair I think truly reflected where we were as a nation, and for better or worse what our values and aspirations are. In turn, the film accurately reflects the experience visitors felt.
Despite having lived through the experience, I learned a lot about the behind the scenes creativity that was involved and how so much of the technology of the exhibit itself gave birth to new forms of entertainment such as Disney World and Epcot. Ironically so many of the "predictions" ofthe future, like flying cars either never transpired or came in totally different forms. ("picture phone on wall of kitchen, no. Skype /zoom on cellphone, yes, 50 yrs later)

What a load of gibberish. I can't believe all the Stellar reviews here.
This movie is totally disjointed and unintelligible which is ironic since it's about an autistic accountant who, by the way, seems to slip in and out of autism.
So much wasted talent here and a wasted premise which is held back by a bad script and totally illogical narratives. I wish I could give this more "credit." or points on the "ledger.". If you like random scenes strung together, not knowing what's a flashback and what isn't and a bunch of cliches, than maybe the numbers will add up for you. As far as I'm concerned, time to "close the book" and find a new accountant.
