Wow. This was... interesting. To say the least. It was also pretty brutal towards the end.

The build-up was great (however a bit long), the acting was terrific and the story holds up. I think this movie teaches a valuable lesson about naivety and false trust.

What did bug me was, once again, the stupidity of the characters. I won't spoil anything, but it was quite frustrating to watch at some points.

However, I really liked it. I'm not sure I'd recommend it to anyone, let alone watch it together with them, but if you're into psychological thriller/horror and don't mind a bit of gore, I'd say go for it.

All in all, interesting, satisfying movie. 7/10.

One of my favourite horror movies. It's unnerving, surprising and just straight up scary.

The script is great, the characters are great, the actors are great. Is there anything about this movie that is not great? If so, I haven't found it yet.

I was on the edge of my seat for the entirety of the movie, and when the twist came, my jaw dropped. I won't spoil it, but let me just say this: this is the first movie where I knew there was gonna be a twist and I was still shook. It was just executed perfectly.

The movie also shows a realistic depiction of the segregation between black and white, which further increases the tension.

All in all: everyone who's into horror movies has to watch this. 10/10.

I've had this movie on my watchlist for some time now. I never got to watching it because I thought there wasn't much to it. But then I thought, well, why not give it a chance. I'm glad I did.

For the first 15 minutes or so, I was regretting my decision. I thought I was in for a snoozefest. However, my opinion changed quickly. I won't spoil anything, but just let me say this: I don't get scared easily, but I was definitely uncomfortable.

The last 10 minutes, I watched with my jaw dropped. The ending surprised me, and it surprised me that I was surprised (if you get what i mean).

So, long story short: go watch this movie. It's worth it. 7/10.
