Lee returns home to discover Lucy talking to Mike, a hunky Australian comedy from work. Lucy informs Lee that she's planning to use him as a sperm donor, Lee protests and tries to put her off, Lucy is adamant, and suggests an alternative.
Classic episode, it's one of the most memorable ones that I can think of, it features several side splitting, hilarious one liners. If double entendres are your thing, then this bas oodles of them, it's relentless.
Lee's scenes at the clinic were painfully funny, the moments with the nurse were so good, but the psychedelic porno was off the charts, cautious gonad syndrome, bonkers.
Sperm and Testicle jokes from start to finish, Peak and Mack must have put a lot of time and effort into this one.
Very funny.

Lucy attends an important business conference, but her efforts prove fruitless, until she has the idea of posing as a married woman, with Lee as her pretending husband, unfortunately Lee takes the role a little too seriously.
It's a funny episode, it's perhaps not a classic, but it does have some amusing moments, Lucy's efforts to try and snare a customer, very funny. I just adored the banter between Lee and Wendy, it's so inappropriate, but so funny, Grant and Mack worked so well together. Geoffrey Whitehead's comic delivery is just superb, what a funny man, the way he kept a straight face was quite something.
The standout moment has to be the scene where Wendy arrives at the conference was so funny, there's nothing like a lie that gets deeper and deeper.
They were definitely at the point of bringing Lee and Lucy ever closer, it always seemed a little funnier when Lee was chasing Lucy.
Zany and funny.

Davie O'Connor and several friends and acquaintances from a dance class take to the skies for a parachute jump. Davie falls to his death when his chute doesn't open, and Jardine is keen to suspect other members from that dance group. Dr. Steven Andrews attends a case for the final time. Jackie has second thoughts about her wedding.
Once again, I'm finding myself offering a different opinion from others. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode; I loved the tone, the pacing, and the twist. For me, this felt more like a Midsomer Murders episode when the show was at its peak. Production values were great; I particularly enjoyed those opening sequences.
I thoroughly enjoyed Jackie's storyline, which is another case of the regulars' curse: none of them had any success with romance; the only one was Jim.
Robert Robertson seemed to be appearing less and less, spending very limited amounts of time on screen; however, he never stopped adding his terrific brand of humour. Sadly, Robertson passed away soon after.
The acting as ever was terrific. The regular cast are spot on, as are Ellie Haddington, Ray Donachie and Tom Bell.
