After delivering a goosebumps trailer the movie stands on its expectations. Being a Dhanush fan I missed this blender in theatres but grabbed the opportunity of watching on ott. The movie turned to be more than my expectations. Firstly the transformation of Dhanush was quite surprising and mind-blowing. The character which he played was indeed noteworthy. The first half lags in some places but the interval sequence makes it remarkable and once if you liked the interval sequence the climax will keep you tied to your place. The movie not only focuses on the war against the British but also on the internal politics between the fellow villagers and their king.
The cast choosen did their role in a perfect manner. The films seems reunion of the asuran combination of Dhanush and GV Prakash for the background score and music. GV Prakash efficiently handled the music especially in the climax fight sequence. I watched in hindi and telling about the songs, they were above average.
Other actors including Shivarajkumar,Sundeep kishan,Priyanka Mohan nailed in their roles and made their noteworthy contribution to the film. The story was quite different as compared to other movies made on pre-independence genre but succeds to entertain the viewers with its eye catchy action sequences which showcases the brutality & rawness in it.
Director Arun Matheswaran handled each character carefully and utilized them properly in the correct time. The cinematography was good which captures the rawness and makes the movie more interesting. The screenplay was nice with well executed background score and sheer acting by Dhanush and the cast. The story is divided into various chapters which makes it quite different from others.
From my side it's 4.5/5 for the movie for the action, acting & delivering something new to the audience.

The film's screenplay deserves special mention, as it skillfully weaves together Sukhee's personal journey with moments of inspiration and motivation. The narrative is engaging, keeping the viewers hooked throughout the movie. The pacing is well-managed, allowing the story to unfold gradually, while maintaining a consistent level of intrigue.
The performances in Sukhee are commendable, with the lead actress delivering a compelling portrayal of Sukhee's emotional journey. Her nuanced performance captures the frustration, determination, and eventual empowerment that Sukhee experiences. The supporting cast also shines, adding depth and authenticity to the overall narrative.
Another notable aspect of Sukhee is its cinematography and visual aesthetics. The film beautifully captures the contrasting worlds of Sukhee's personal aspirations and her domestic life. The use of colors and lighting effectively enhances the mood and atmosphere, adding a layer of visual storytelling to the film.
While Sukhee effectively addresses important themes and delivers a strong message, some parts of the movie could have been further explored and developed. Certain subplots and character arcs feel slightly rushed, leaving the audience wanting more depth and resolution.
Overall, Sukhee is an empowering and thought-provoking Bollywood film that highlights the struggles and aspirations of married women. With its relatable narrative, strong performances, and beautiful visual aesthetics, the movie successfully encourages viewers to reflect on the importance of motivation and pursuing dreams, even after marriage.

A powerful and gripping drama that captures the very real threat of climate change, "Kadvi Hawa" is based on true stories from the drought prone Bundelkhand region and the vanishing villages from coastal Odisha and Chambal region of Rajasthan. The idea of making "Kadvi Hawa" first came to Dr. Panda back in 2005 while shooting a documentary on climate change. In his own words, "In Odisha, there were seven villages on a coastal line. They were called 'seven brothers'. But when I reached there, I only saw two of them. I got a shock when I saw two hand-pumps inside water. I heard from people between the age group 60-70 that those hand-pumps were earlier located in the middle of the village."
