The guy that plays Stuart I think makes this. He is so believable in every scene. Actually everyone seems at home in their skin. This has probably some big flaws...but I don't care!
There are a couple of scenes I sped through after a few viewings. But there always are.
I like the way it starts in the middle of the story. We join people in the middle of their problems with each other and yet it all makes so much sense so quickly.
I especially love the way the music complements the action. Especially the sharp note at critical junctions.
Science fiction nerds, hopeless romantics, even corporate ladder climbers should go back in time and have an easy evening with this little pleasure!

This has characters that I liked, as well as a plot a bit deeper than the norm. There are no drastic winding curves, but it is a very pleasant curvy country road.
There is a bit of whimsical time warping, but it is mildly plausible and I do love the action that required that the characters breach the barrier.
I found both of the leads quite believable. There are a couple of tricks borrowed from other time related tales, but I found them to be quite fittingly used. I found this to be a very enjoyable film and I loved the character development of the Gardner very much.
I did not expect the ending but was very pleasantly surprised. If you are interested in a cute little fantasy that has a happy ending then get a snack and something to drink because this is it!

This little off-the-wall Christmas tale is not exactly what I thought it would be. It is also not exactly a Groundhog Day retype, but if you loved that one you might find that you like this one as well.
The idea of a perfect Christmas does seem to be a common one, but I don't think that my most memorable ones were anything to do with perfection!
I liked the gift shop lady. And, pretty much everyone did a great job in their roles. Some of the roles were skewed a bit to the cheesy side, but that was the way they were intended!
I was beginning to wonder how she would ever escape. I loved the effects when she tried!
This is a whimsical bit of silliness that is family friendly and ends with a well deserved Happily Ever After. Just the way a good Christmas film should!
