Jessica Alba is a good actress and deserves better than this. My favorite of her's is The Eye. But, this movie, although the generic trained military tries to find out who killed their dad, fights everyone they see, is still good with her in it. There are a couple of other good actors in it too, like Breakfast Club's Michael Anthony Hall.
But, my issue is with the production. The fight scenes have very obvious cut-out edits, clips, clip boundaries, whatever you call it, making it look like a B movie. If they could have just spent a little more time making those scenes a little more realistic and not cut and clipped all over the place, it would be much more watchable.

This is another LGBQ+ vehicle. I am hoping that these start fading out more now. Every show on TV has to have a LGBQT+ character and it is just plain gross. There is no reason to have it in every single show. It is only about 5% of the population being represented and they need to keep their behavior private.

I think this is a very good show (long movie). I understand it is only the one season mini-series. I feel that Amanda Seyfried did a great job, as always. The only bad thing for me with this movie is I could tell who the killer was almost immediately. There were some quick clues. I am not sure why the writer of the book did it that way, but the story lays out really well and pieces slowly fit together throughout the series. I watched it twice the first week I watched it as I wanted my wife to watch it to and see the pieces fit together. I also shared it with others, as I think it is done so well. It has an exceptional message, as well, on many levels.
