Ignore all the people giving the season 3 episodes low marks for supposedly being "woke". Those people just want to deny that racism exists in policing, and any show that wants to be realistic needs to deal with that. There are racist cops, and it's not 99.it are good with only 0.1% bad apples. If that were true, carding would reflect the actual demographic make up of a city, but instead people of colour are overrepresented in the carding stats for any North American police force.
This show is doing a great job dealing with these very present issues in society today.

This season is doing a really good job of depicting issues that we all know exist in policing, that of racism and how visible minorities are treated by a mostly white police force. Contrary to what all the whiners who are giving these episodes low rankings, social justice isn't a mental disease, it's just treating others around you fairly and with respect for simply being human beings. Notice how none of them are criticizing the actions of the character Doug Stanton, and he is racist treatment of black people in the show. This is an issue which needs to be addressed, and we should not shy away from doing so.
"Night Man" is an OK show, definitely not as bad as other comments on IMDb may say. It's more of a mix of science fiction and fantasy, rather than just straight SF, so many people may not like that. I like both F and SF in reading, but generally not on TV shows, but I do like "Night Man." However, I'm not going to get depressed if I miss it because there is something else on that I like better. I might tape it, I might not. I don't know about the comic book, but this show has potential - if it can only live up to it.
