A nighttime soap played straight, picking up in silliness right where Melrose Place left off. After test audiences *laughed*, Spelling backpedaled, saying that he was going for camp. Uh-huh, sure.
This was one of the worst TV shows I've ever seen. My sister, who was an avid Melrose Place fan, thought Titans was too over the top.
Which for me, makes it a classic. It's so bad it's good. If you hated Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place, you *need* to watch this show. You will laugh your ass off... everything that's wrong with television, distilled, chilled, and served on a steaming fresh pile of dog***t.
Highly recommended, if you're not laughing with it, you're laughing *at* it.
