The whole script is weak, border lining on absurd. The plot holes are too numerous to list here.

When the action sequences pick up the pace near the end, it's just stupid .

One pit this falls into is the same as most Hollywood movies, an utter lack of cameras in any safe or protected building. It helps the story advance out of convenience, not authenticity.

Although there are several well know actors, they sadly do nothing to salvage the script. At some point it feels like an episode of Gilligan's Island with all the changes and no reasonable resources that are remotely believable.

No justice is served, you're just left with utter silliness at the end.

Huge fan of season 1 and I found season 2 watchable but not quite to the same level. Unfortunately, the first episode of season 3 is off the rails. Too much magic, characters that distract from the story (Matt), and a storyline that is too convoluted to be followed or entertaining. From Star Trek to Spider-Man, one simple truth holds true, keep your enemies limited to 1 and made the plot clear. Watching season 3's first 2 episodes, I'm overloaded with characters, plots, sub-plots, and B-stories that drag the larger story down. Never read the books but it feels like the show is trying to include every detail. Hope future episodes improve or season 3 may be its curtain call.

This is a truly fun court drama with lots of plot twists and drama. Some of the characters are well developed and engaging. The court room drama and investigations are enjoyable and often leave me guessing. It's a binge worthy.

There are lots of plot holes, mostly around court procedures, timing, submission of evidence, and how the attorneys conduct themselves in court. During trials, it is Mickey and his client against the DA. For a major trial, both sides would have a team of people and be surrounded by boxes material. Judges rarely tell a jury to "disregard" and attorneys are never allowed to make a prejudicial statements and then say "withdrawn", as both could lead to a mistrial.

The handling of evidence is poorly addressed as is plot holes of forgetting key evidence that would result in Mickey's clients losing. It is also a bit hard to imagine that Mickey's is in practice by himself, it would take a large team, attorneys, paralegals, etc. To maintain an office and expenses to support everyone and his lifestyle.

At the end, don't look too deep and you'll be thoroughly entertained. It's Hollywood, not a real court of law.
