What a truly horrible movie. First off, whose bright idea was it to cast British people to play Greek gods? Second of all, the Harpies looked nothing like Harpies at all, and the skeletons and Thalos are mediocre at best. And the final insult, this movie is nothing like the actual story. First off, Thalos doesn't fall on anyone, and he certainly doesn't get killed by someone pulling a plug out of his ankle! And the Greek gods aren't friendly like they show in the movie, they're usually very VERY cruel. But those are just pet peeves. My real problem is the fact that the damn movie has no ending. How it's supposed to end is that years later Medea tricks Pelias' daughters into cutting him up up into little pieces, Jason dumps Medea for the Corinthian princess, and Medea kills the princess and her own children. Also, Medea wasn't a priestess like in this horrible movie, she's AEetes' daughter. Also, they left out vital parts of the story like Jason having to yoke two huge bulls to get the fleece. And I thought it was bad when Disney didn't kill Quasimodo at the end of The Hunchback of Notre Dame...
What a horrible, horrible, horrible movie. The plot is paper thin, the acting sucks, and there's nothing redeemable about this movie at all. Seeing this movie is almost as painful as getting a root canal without anesthetic. Even die hard wrestling fans (like myself) want to forget it ever existed. It's just a horrible reminder of the wretched rock 'n wrestling connection, and the most selfish wrestler ever to take a year off to do a horrible movie that started the lamest feud, and some of the worst matches of the 80's and part of the 90's. -***** stars out of *****
