They barely touched on Baywatch Hawaii but I loved how they really talked in-depth with the stars they did feature. Pam, Nicole, Erika, Gregory Alan-Williams, Jeremy, and Carmen got a lot of deserved time. I know some stats have avoided the spotlight after they left the show...Yasmine, for example but a lot of my favorites got little to no mention and that's a shame. Baywatch was a long running show with more than a handful of stars that made it what it was. For me, I had a favorite or two each season and the Baywatch Hawaii seasons had some amazing characters that deserved to get their moments in this documentary as well.
I 1st checked out this show because I was a fan of David Boreanaz and through it, I became fans of many more actors...but no episode did more to explore as many characters as this one. From Arastoo and Wendall to Fisher and Clark, it gave great insights into the squinterns and delivered some heart-wrenching performances from them as well as main characters like Booth and Jack. The subject matter was real-world related and the way characters talked, you'd think they lived through the real world events that this episode was based around.
I just finally saw it today and, it was action-packed from beginning to end. The plot was easy enough to understand but some of the action sequences seemed a little more hectic than necessary. What I mean is that you couldn't always tell what was happening in those fight scenes. I definitely give this movie a thumbs-up as Wesley Snipes gave a very good performance as he usually does. It wasn't without its plot twists and there were a few unexpected surprises along the way. The gore was a little graphic for my tastes but wasn't so bad that it detracted from my enjoyment of the movie. My best suggestion to someone going to see this movie is to sit at least half-way back in the theater so that you can take in the action scenes properly. I sat up closer and, like I said, I couldn't tell everything that was happening due to the speed of the scenes.
