I could go into deep details describing the brilliance of this show. I'm sure all of you have read some article, or saw some special that outlined the exact brilliance so I'm not going to dwell into details. There has never been a show like this, and there never will be another. This show has never received the exact applause it deserves. Yes, the critics praise it, but the general public should take notice. The ratings are not stellar, they don't compare to CSI, or some other boring monotonous cop show. Those shows don't have heart like "Buffy". Those shows don't have the character, story, and gripping metaphors that shake the mind/heart/soul like "Buffy". "Buffy" is in it's most likely last season and is still the most profound groundbreaking show on television. It will be sadly missed, but it'll continue in syndication and on DVD. This is the best show now, and possibly EVER.
I remember this was one of my favorite shows as a kid. My mother and I use to sit in her bed together watching this show. This show had good morals to it. There was nothing better than the comforting viewing each time of the friendship the characters shared. It's a lot better than some of the cartoon series they have on now for kids. I highly recommend this for the young children of today.
