"The Conference" is a movie that takes place in the woods where a group of people go on a conference. The movie starts off as a typical corporate drama, but things quickly take a turn and it becomes a slasher.
The movie features some really good actors and good scenography. The music is well fitted and the style of the movie becomes a mix between dark comedy and a movie by Lars Molin. Kind of two movies in the same package.
The plot is well-crafted, even if the "twist" was a bit easy, and the characters are well-developed.
The director, Patrick Eklund, does an excellent job of building atmosphere throughout the movie. The cinematography is also impressive.
Overall, I would give "The Conference" an 8 out of 10. It's definitely worth watching if you're a fan of horror movies.

This movie is simply a great little piece of work. It's a comedy and comedy only! The acting is OK and the music is hilarious. Get it people, it's a FUNNY movie, kind of a mixture between Scream and Clueless - nothing more. Smart asses comparing this with classic horror movies knows nothing about this genre...
Problems?
It's only problem is that it has taken the name from another comedy called "American Psycho", a movie that a lot of people tries to understand but no one does. What's so great about that film anyway?

This movie is simply incredible. The lead guy is like a cartoon with all his moves and flips, and the action is hard like a rock. No tricks what so ever... Except that I suspect that some of the actors (counterparts) had a wig to cover a protection device on the head. Otherwise they should be dead by now :-)
This movie is so great so even if I dont' understand a single sentence in Thai, I love the movie. Actually it's equal to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, but REAL!
