This WIP movie delivers all the goods in an almost plausible story. Laura Gemser, reprising her role as Emanuelle, is incarcerated in a sleazy women's prison where the warden is corrupt, the guards get excited by torturing prisoners, and the inmates use one another as pleasure toys.
Although intended for mature audiences only, this is a film that delivers the goods in this genre without trying to hold back; even the characters are interesting and developed.

With the many successes in the cannibal genre by his Italian counterparts in the early 80's, it was inevitable that Jess Franco would make a jungle movie of his own. Despite actually having some acting talent at hand for once, Jess Franco still fails to deliver the goods that made such movies as "Cannibal Holocaust" and "Cannibal Ferox" cult classics. If you are a huge fan of the jungle/cannibal genre then you will enjoy the unintended humor in this film, elsewise, you might as well let it keep on collecting dust on the video store shelf.
This hilarious French farce takes place towards the end of World War II. A German column encounters a postman at an intersection where the road signs have been sabotaged by the resistance. The Germans get the postman to lead them to the village. From the church tower, the myopic priest sees the postman and the soldiers from afar and mistakes them for Americans because the German motorcyclists are wearing black camouflage on their face. The Wehrmacht unit arrives to the warm, flag waving, cheering village; the German officer is brought to tears... then the villagers realize their mistake. The action gets nuttier and funnier as the movie goes on. This is a gem.
