"Happy of the End" is a love story between a mysterious, handsome young man living on the fringes of society and a man who has lost everything, including his family. The story unfolds as Chihiro wakes feeling dazed and confused in a pile of garbage when suddenly a man named Keito appears before him. As he gradually recovers, he begins to remember the events that led to this point.. Kashiwagi Chihiro, rejected by his family for being gay and having lost everything, hits rock bottom. One night, he meets Keito at his regular bar. Although Keito appears to be a cool and handsome young man, he carries with him a lot of trauma from a painful upbringing. After a bit too much to drink, Keito ends up inviting Chihiro back to a hotel. However, things didn't turn out quite as expected, as just as things start to heat up he is suddenly knocked out by Keito. As he slowly awakens the next day, Keito calls his friend and they drag him into a car. Although he expects the worst to happen, he ends up back at Keito's home. After discovering Chihiro doesn't have what he is looking for, he tells him to "scram", but Chihiro has nowhere else to go... The story depicts how two people, after a terrible first encounter, start to live together, and how they grow closer despite their conflicts. Adapted from the manga by Ogeretsu Tanaka.
