I would have given this a perfect beautiful 10! But it goes completely off the story of the book and creates its own plot, but the problem is the many reasons certain things occur is based on the true story of the authors book, if you've read the book you might be disappointed. The acting is wonderful as is the cinematography. The first episodes were just great! I understand spinning a story and it doesn't always follow the book, but it has just completely changed its course. I hope it ends well! It's a lovely tale of Tita whom I adored in the book. I love the way it looks visually and how it sticks to Titas recipes ! I hope it comes back to the story.

Woah just woah! This story was executed beautifully by the actors and everyone who brought this beautiful story to life. From the music, to the food, the culture, and the love. I felt every emotion as if I were there. The cinematography was executed perfectly and each of the actors portrayed every character perfectly as well. It's rare to find a show that can keep you hooked the entire way and this show did just that. I watched every episode back to back and I'm very excited for this show to continue. I hope this show can continue to bring all of the culture, love, and passion that I have seen in these episodes.

The book is an absolute delight! The movie back in the 90s was extraordinary. And now, Salma delivers GOLD!

Finally a series to one of the most amazing books that has been created with such talent from not just a writers, but the actors! Just the first episode displays that the actors selected for this show are beyond talent! I am hopeful that Salma sweeps every award because again the actors, the storyline, THE MUSIC - wow, PERFECTION! Just everything about this and she's bringing this delicious story back to life - Thank you Salma BESOS!

Do yourself a favor and nestle in what the storyline is, enjoy your wine with such appetite and flavor, make yourself a five course meal and enjoy it as you're watching this as it will only increase the love of the storyline for you. I hope you enjoy and love this as much as I love it!

This tv show is wildly entertaining, the amount of emotions this bought out of me, I felt great sadness, angered against people as I would my own worst enemy. I've never read the book but will now because of this tv show. So how much it correlates to the book I can't say. What I can say is I was so immersed in this tv show more than I probably ever have been in to a movie or tv show. I truly feel like I will carry this show in my heart for a long time, and I've only watched two episodes I'm so excited for the rest and this is definitely my new comfort show. Maybe more than that because I can't express with words how this has touched me.

I loved the original movie from the 90s and, at the time, I was really into novelas by Gabriel Garcia Marquez because he brought to life passion and love in the same vein as Laura Esquivel.

The story needed an update and I am incredibly impressed with the casting. The actress who places Tita is gorgeous and she should be rewarded for her acting ability.

She and the actor who plays Pedro have incredible chemistry and I love every scene with them.

As a Latino, I feel that this project speaks to me because I have experienced unrequited/forbidden love while thinking about it in Spanish!

Thank God that it has been renewed so that we can witness the conclusion.
