Magda is getting divorced from an alcoholic mariachi in rehab. While she tries to find her inner strength by practicing pole dance she meets Jaime, who gets obsessed with her, unleashing a story of abuse and gender violence.

Magda is a Mexican 25 year old mom who is in the process of getting divorced from her high school sweetheart Ernesto, an alcoholic mariachi in rehab. They both got married when they where so young and immediately got pregnant, so now she feels she needs to research who she really is as a person. While she tries to find her inner strength by practicing pole dance, she also works hard to save money, she wants to open her own beauty salon in Mexico city and to become Blanca's business partner instead of her employee so her economical situation changes to a better one. At the same time she tries to be a good mom for Fer, rushing and making time for her with a little help from her mother, Lupe. Lupe takes care of Fer while Magda is busy by playing with her and taking the 6 year old child in her taxi-bike vehicle that she uses for work. Magda also wants a fresh start to her personal life, even though Ernesto is still in the picture trying to stay with her while he fights his addiction. Magda starts dating Jaime, a strong trailer owner (at least that's what he tells her) that she meets at the gym right next to her pole dance studio. He is very enthusiastic about this new encounter and she likes that attention Ernesto never gave to her, but suddenly Jaime starts acting strange, having very jealousy reactions and having a "father attitude" to Fer that Magda never told him he was able to. With the pass of time, Jaime gets obsessed with Magda, and she, unknowing, will become involved in a story of gender violence, digital harassment and sexual abuse, all while she tries to protect her daughter and herself from Jaime at all cost.
