Ritu and Anuj as they navigate through their newly budding romance.

The series follows Anuj and Ritu, two love-struck teenagers who meet in a coaching centre in Bhopal. Anuj is a small-town boy, and Ritu has just moved from Gurgaon. We follow the journey of the many firsts of their love; first dates, first gifts, first fights, bouts of jealousy, and possibly, their first kiss. Will their first relationship withstand the trials of love, or will they get lost in the Gutar Gu?

Anuj and Ritu, in their late teenage years, reside in a small district of north India. Anuj belongs to an orthodox middle-class family, attends boy's school and has little or no interaction with girls. When he joins a coaching class for his 12th boards, with teenage hormones kicking in, he falls in love with Ritu, who has just shifted to his city. Her father is a government employee, so her relocation is quite frequent. She's been raised in a liberal environment and is totally opposite to Anuj, very confident, speaks her mind, and has no awkwardness towards boys. Anuj's parents on the other hand are very conservative and only expect him to focus on his studies. The romance unfolds as Ritu finds the innocence of Anuj quite appealing. For Anuj, the first experience of having this kind of equation with a girl is quite overwhelming. He finds it a behemoth task to approach her and share his feelings and is unable to communicate with her in a proper manner. His friends Adi & Umair give him useless suggestions that will only make the matter worse. Until his cousin brother "Amit Bhaiya" comes to the rescue. Amit Bhaiya grooms Anuj in the most "staple macho man' manner which does not work to entice a girl like Ritu. Anuj faces multiple roadblocks in the course of his relationship with Ritu. With the resolution of each conflict, he becomes better at handling the complicated situations of their relationship.The series will explore the journey of their first love and the problems they will face to keep their relationship hidden and intact. With the immense parental pressure on Anuj each episode will bring new conflict that will show their prejudices and how it hampers the relationship. Will their commitment to each other survive at this tender age?
