Avis à la une
I really love the concept of this show and it would be awesome to even be able to make it through the second episode. Sadly, I am unable because of the host of the show. Where is Duff Goldman when you need him?
It's a fun show to keep in the background while you do other stuff.
The host tries too hard to be funny and quirky but it ends up being absolutely cringy.

This is an interesting idea, to watch skillful bakers create cakes that look like other items. That takes talent and experience so it was neat to watch it come together. It was impressive to watch them work on the details.
What made my stomach churn was the horrible host. Mikey Day is annoying, condescending, childish and incredibly cringey. Nothing about him is funny and every time he opens his mouth, he drags the show a little further down into the sewer. Watching him, hearing him; just made me angry. Having him on the s how is such a disservice to the bakers; if Netflix cancels this show, it will be due to Day. He's an imbecile and it is extremely difficult to keep watching the show with him on it.

I like all the idea and I didn't hate the host but the judges!!!!! Sometimes it was too easy to know which one was the cake, yet they still pick another one. Also they should improve the way the judges pick the one they want since at the end of the time the one that has the screen in front of him is the one that has the last word.
The cakes that the contestants make are incredibly well done and seeing what they could make next is what got me through to the end. That being said, I have 2 major issues with the show:
1. Mikey Day is fantastic in SNL but I feel like he's out of his element as host of a baking competition. His humour was way, way too dry for my taste.
2. The judges at the end of the episodes are kind of wasted due to having only 15 secs to guess. It turns into 3 people shouting guesses and having the person in the middle pressing the button in a frenzied rush every single time. Gets very boring and it always feels too rushed.
Overall, it's a decent show in my opinion.
