Fox doesn’t offer an inside look at its streaming service Fox Nation all that often. The company is preparing to launch a new streaming service that will offer Fox Sports content and more, but Fox Nation isn’t going anywhere. Speaking at an investor conference in recent days, Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch revealed that the conservative news and lifestyle service Fox Nation has grown to somewhere between 2 million and 2.5 million subscribers.

The actor and producer has set up a follow-up to his first docu-series with Fox Nation celebrating the National Park — the aptly titled Yellowstone: One-Fifty — with a new look at how the park came to be. The show is called Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner and will follow the actor as he re-traces the 1903 Yosemite expedition of Roosevelt and environmental advocate John Muir, an event that resulted in the National Parks system and the protection and creation of many acres of land.

Kevin Costner is returning to Fox Nation to host the three-part limited series Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner, with the first episode debuting on February 8.

The series also will kickoff the streaming service’s “America 250” campaign, marking the country’s semiquincentennial in 2026.

In Yellowstone to Yosemite, Costner will trace the 1903 Yosemite expedition of President Teddy Roosevelt and John Muir. The Oscar winner will explore the region’s Indigenous American legacy, Yosemite’s history and how the Roosevelt-Muir expedition bolstered the National Park system and led to the creation of national forests and protection of 230 million acres of land.

Costner also serves as executive producer for the project, which was developed by his Territory Films along with Warm Springs Productions. His producing partner Rod Lake is an executive producer along with Marc Pierce for Warm Springs Productions. New episodes will premiere each week.

Premiering on Feb. 8 with episodes dropping weekly, the project is the second of its kind, following the deal Costner made to produce “Yellowstone: One-Fifty” with the network in 2022.

“Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner” sees Costner follow the path of the 1903 Yosemite expedition traveled by Theodore Roosevelt, who was guided by environmental advocate John Muir. The expedition drove Roosevelt to protect Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove by moving them under federal control and making them part of the national park.

As the official description for the series reads, “Throughout the voyage, Costner explores the region’s rich Indigenous American legacy, the serendipitous arrival of outsiders in 1850, and how John Muir evolved into a crusader for our wildest places. Kevin Costner has teamed up with Fox Nation for a new docuseries focused on America’s national parks and their history, including Yellowstone.

The three-part limited series, titled “Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner,” will be hosted and executive produced by Costner, who previously teamed up with Fox Nation for 2022 documentary “Yellowstone: One-Fifty.”

In the series, Costner will walk through President Teddy Roosevelt and John Muir’s 1903 expedition of Yosemite, touching on the region’s indigenous legacy, the politics of resource management and Roosevelt’s establishment of a more structured National Park System, which solidified the creation of 150 National Forests and five National Parks.

The series premieres Saturday, Feb. 8 as part of the streamer’s celebration of the country’s 250th anniversary in 2026, and will be released every Saturday.
