- Globetrotter, adventurer, billionaire and philanthropist: Largo Winch (Tomer Sisley) has now inherited his father's legacy: a multinational corporation worth billions. But Largo, who has long traveled the world freely and unbound, has no personal interest in the fortune. With the help of Alexander Jung (Laurent Terzieff), a friend of his father and former president of the International Red Cross, he wants to transfer it to a humanitarian aid fund, a foundation. But before the ink is dry on the foundation contract, the coast guard boards Largo's yacht and the attractive Diane Francken (Sharon Stone), a prosecutor at the International Criminal Court, appears in his office. She is investigating him for illegal dealings with the military junta in Burma. The accusation is that the Burmese General Kyaw Min was bribed to expel the villagers in order to obtain a nickel deposit in which the multinational was interested. The general was paid for his services from an account in Switzerland belonging to the Winch Group. Largo knows nothing of all this and voluntarily travels to Thailand, where a mysterious witness is to testify against him. An unpleasant surprise: it is Malunaï (Mame Nakprasitte), Largo's great love from the time he lived in Burma. The billionaire heir finds himself exposed to a conspiracy, because he knows for sure that Malunaï would never accuse him of such a crime, nor would his father have made deals with war criminals to maximize his profits. With the help of his butler Gauthier (Nicolas Vaude) and his sidekick Simon (Olivier Barthélémy), Largo Winch flees across South East Asia to find out who is trying to destroy his life and reputation - and once again the forces of evil are closer to him than he can believe. The beautiful Malunaï also has a surprise in store for Largo.—ARD
