Avis à la une
Anybody who grew up with cartoons will enjoy the loads of references to things like "Scooby Doo". All the characters of take-offs of existing cartoon characters like Bettie Boop and Pokemon. This makes the often sex-based humor all the more effective.
Apart from all of it's more entertaining and respectable strengths, I enjoy "Drawn Together" especially for the gay game-type character, Xandir. It's nice to see a male cartoon charter who's that actively sexy and openly queer!
This is good enough to be on Adult Swim!
It should have lasted longer. But every single episode was gold.
We need more animated cartoons like this, focused in making people laugh rather than giving forced morals or dealing with trendy topics.
Le saviez-vous
- AnecdotesOne first season episode, "Terms of Endearment", had a delayed airing. It showed Captain Hero as a quadriplegic after giving up his super powers (saying, "You know what happens to superheroes who give up their powers".) It was such an obvious reference to former Superman 'Christopher Reeve' that it wasn't aired until the middle of the second season, after Reeve passed away.

Spanky Ham: Yea, but honey, where you come from animated objects spring to life and spout silly catchphrases.
Blue Ball: [springs to life] Whach'u talkin' 'bout, pig?
Princess Clara: No, he's right, Blue Ball. Maybe I should just apologize.
Blue Ball: Usually, Clara looks to us for advice, but this time it came from Spanky. It's a good thing too, because I was going tell her to shoot the President.
