Avis à la une

MG 1 and 2 were good, mgs was great, mgs 2 was also good, but this game is truly the best one in the series... I really love the style it's presented in, even the endless cut-scenes that the mgs games are know for, are interesting all the time... I REALLY enjoyed playing through it, the new cameo system is also great, it makes it more tactical and stealthy...
the only little thing I think wasn't all that good was the healing wounds, I mean it's great at first, but going into the menu to heal yourself 10-20 times during a boss fight is quite boring and repetitive but everything else about it is just great, the story is exceptional and Naked Snake is a great character.
I truly recommend it!

Hideo Kojima never ceases to amaze me, besides the fact that Snake (A.K.A Big Boss) looks amazingly like Kurt Russell from "Escape From New York" in this game, the characters look and feel more realistic than anything ever attempted with video games. Since video games where invented they have been shrugged off by the other media's as inferior and childish, I have a feeling that that time is quickly coming to an end.
This game's story line had me more intrigued than I've been with any movie in a long time. The Music is spot on, the voice overs are flawless, the cinematics and action rival that of most modern films, and Yoji Shinkawa's art work is fresh and inventive. Kojima really has mastered the technique of "playing a movie" with this one.
The only real caution i can give is that the violence can get intense in area's, and the game play may be a little to in depth for newer gamers.
But if your ready to put some time and effort into it, this game is nothing short of the perfect experience.

The game itself is like watching a James Bond movie...
This game has it all. Hideo Kojima has once again impressed me and as well as the other millions of people who have played his Metal Gear games. It has turned into a complete franchise. This is probably the best Metal Gear Solid game I've ever played, although I was a little disappointed about the camera overhead view, but I can understand why it was used as a specific perspective for this particular game.
Hideo is a pure genius when it comes to "Tactical Espionage Action". "Snake Eater" has the most Cinematic cut-scenes, challenging gameplay, unique storytelling, unbelievable plot twists, and as always little Easter eggs scattered around this game that you can't even describe. Simply, this game just boggles the mind. There is so much you can do. You can basically do anything in MGS 3 SE has to offer such as eating, taking good care of yourself, its just endless, From this day, I am still playing it, and from what I've played so far I can't get my hands off of it.
Btw, there is a bunch of classic moments, so much 1960's related reference, and also some James Bond movie creation reminiscent to this game it's just INSANE!!! I'm wondering why Hideo hasn't directed a Metal Gear Solid movie himself. =) Wait what am I saying? This is a movie itself! More like an interactive movie with flawless execution! =D My final words to this game is just simply a "masterpiece of a work of art."

This game is a work of art. The gameplay, the graphics, the story, the characters, are all perfectly fitted into the game. I do not own this game but i rented it, and even though i beat it in about 2 days, i still would like to own it. This game far surpasses Metal gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. In this, you play as Naked Snake (Big boss), the whole time. You have to survive in the jungle but hunting and well obviously eating. The new cure system is a very good add on in my opinion. The boss fights are amazing. One of the best being the fight with the end(A dead sniper who comes back to life to kill Snake). One of the best visually though, has to be the fury. The best way to go through this game is stealth, although you could go through it killing everyone you see, but this makes it harder and also, by doing this, a fight with a certain boss may be a bit long. A cool new feature with this game is the camoflauge. Blending in with your surroundings and waiting for the perfect time to execute CQC (close quarters combat) will make you feel very accomplished. This game does take patience in some areas, but still very worth buying. The only flaw with this game, in my opinion, was the fact that i beat it in about 2 days, but still there is about no difference between playing this game and going to the movies. Overall I give this game a 9/10.
Metal Gear Solid 3 may have slid under the radar due to the overwhelming hype of Halo 2 for XBOX, but since I bought and finished this game in a couple of days, it's easily one of the best video games I've ever played and I've played hundreds.
The game is close to achieving perfection with amazing graphics, terrific game play, awesome boss battles and compelling storyline with some of the fantastic cut scenes that surpass the ridiculously insane level of Rambo films and others like it. It is impossible to be moved by the ending, but this game did for me. The epic scope of the game is a clear case that sometimes playing a video game is better than going to the movies at a certain time period when there are too few good movies to see. Metal Gear Solid 3 is an incredible achievement in video gaming from the standpoint of my experience playing the game from beginning to end.
Hideo Kojima and the staff at Konami have raised the bar in video game experience once again. No wonder the creators of the Matrix trilogy the Wachowski brothers are fans of Kojima for his genius as a game planner, story-writer and designer.

- AnecdotesAfter the release of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (2001), Hideo Kojima said that he would not direct this game. He wanted a member of his team at Konami to replace him, but none of them wanted to, so he was forced to change his mind and direct after all.
- GaffesCalorieMate first came out in 1983, yet this game is set in 1964.

Major Zero: 007 is the biggest thing to come out of England since the Mayflower. I wouldn't be surprised if they made 20 more of those movies.
