Timid Rajesh Malhotra escapes his tyrant father and meets Meena in a foreign land. The two lovers decide to marry, but when Meena's parents object, Rajesh decides to win them over in the quirkiest way.

Two young Indians, Meena and Rajesh, meet in Europe and fall in love with each other, promising to get married when they return back to India. When they return home, Rajesh tells his dad about Meena, and they go to meet with Meena's dad. During this meeting, both fathers get into an argument, and refuse to permit the young couple to get married. No amount of persuasion gets them to change their minds. Then Rajesh, with Meena's help, decides to work as a servant in Meena's household - with a view of winning over her father, and thus finding a solution to their wedding problems. Rajesh thinks that his father Dhanraj is too strict and hence flees to Europe. Dinanath , the patriarch of a joint family sends his granddaughter Meena to Europe for studies. Rajesh and Meena meet in Europe and fall in love. Rajesh patches up with his father who agrees to go to Meena's house to ask her hand in marriage. But as fate would have it, Dhanraj and Dinanath get into an unfortunate quarrel without knowing each other's true identity. As a result the proposed relationship breaks. To rectify the situation Rajesh enters Meena's house as a servant and starts his mission of impressing her family to win her over.—Soumitra

Rajesh Malhotra (Raju) is son of wealthy Dharamraj Malhotra he runs away from his house to Europe as his father doesn't let him live his life the way he wants.He meets Meena granddaughter daughter of Dinanath who has secure scholarship in Europe.Raju and Meena fall in love and upon returning to India they discuss it with their families. Dharamraj is ready to meet Meena's family while Dinanath also agrees.Both families are joyful to meet and each other.But a tragedy strikes.
