How two sisters found love or a bright comedy about the pre-war USSR

Comedy. And this masterpiece of Soviet cinema was advised to me by a person knowledgeable in this matter, for which I am categorically grateful to him, because without his help I myself would never have been able to get to this diamond buried under the dust of time. And here's my brief opinion for you - a bright comedy about the pre-war USSR. I will note right away that there are no flaws in the picture, and they never were, and the primitive technologies of the thirties and forties, the obvious combined filming cannot be considered a minus in any way, so I will focus your attention exclusively on the merits of this masterpiece.

So, here they are: 1. Scenario - the picture unfolds in pre-war Moscow and the Moscow region and tells, of course, a romantic story, or rather two stories of the Murashov sisters. Galina and Shura, and their cavaliers Pyotr Kolchin and Gleb Zavartsev, who are trying to get the sisters' hands and hearts, but this path is thorny and replete with a whole bunch of different, and especially funny and funny situations. That's right, we have another romantic story unfolding in the scenery of the pre-war USSR, which is what catches, because the creators managed to capture the life and mores of the people of that time and immortalize it by building around it a magnificent romantic story with very witty dialogues, albeit with a predictable ending, and catchy characters, for whom you worry and with all your might you wish them success. And if you are tired of the same type of Western (and not only) romcoms, then pay attention to this work of domestic cinema!

    2. Humor - romance here is closely intertwined with high-quality humor that will make you smile and laugh heartily, although there is nothing extraordinary in it, just a series of various comical situations that we have all observed throughout our lives. I think that this comedy will be understandable to the modern viewer, because the types of characters and the humor itself are not outdated for a single second, and frankly there are no passing moments here. Maybe the picture won't make you laugh as much as Leonid Gaidai's comedies, but you will definitely get your portion of pleasure.

    3. Energy - the picture literally glows with its unfading energy, which inspires to accomplish great things. The picture charges with a positive mood, awakens the best qualities in a person, makes you laugh heartily and makes you believe in the best qualities of all the people around you. And why? Yes, it's just that in this comedy the creators' love for their creation is visible. The creators put a piece of their soul into this work of cinematography. Literally everything reminds us of this. Ah, if all filmmakers did that, the world would be a much better place.

    4. Acting - I can't help but mention this point, which still amazes me, because in every frame, in every remark, the efforts of the actors are visible. Literally all the characters lit up in the frame fill the picture with liveliness. Everyone has a character, everyone has their own goal, everyone has their own aspirations, for which one can only respect.

A little about the main characters: 1. Galina Murashova, performed by Valentina Serova, is Shura's older sister, a very, very strict lady, and at the same time a beauty that the world has never seen. He is very skeptical about love until he meets it. I saw Valentina Vasilyevna for the first time here - and from the very first frame it became clear that she would definitely outshine Lyudmila Tselikovskaya, which happened (and it was in this picture). I can only say "Bravo"!

    2. Shura Murashova performed by Lyudmila Tselikovskaya is Galina's younger sister, a little windy girl, and also of remarkable beauty, who, without realizing it, was able to organize her sister's happiness. And Lyudmila Vasilyevna was good in this role. You can't take that away! Bravo!

    3. Pyotr Kolchin, played by Evgeny Samoilov, is a lieutenant of the tank troops of the Red Army, who had his eye on Shura, but fate decreed otherwise. An honest man and a competent commander, who is an example for subordinates. He is bold, assertive, bold, and acts in advance. Bravo!

    4. Gleb Zavartsev, played by Pavel Springfeld, is a scientist, a colleague of Galina, who tries in every possible way to evoke a response from her, but suffers constant failures. A nice guy, a kind of image of a "nerd", a klutz, but a sincere and kind person. I can only praise Pavel Alexandrovich. Bravo!

The painting had an interesting fate. It was removed in 1941 and even the Artistic Council liked it, but the main party ideologist Andrei Alexandrovich Zhdanov did not like it, which delayed its rental until the victorious 1945. Nevertheless, the success was tremendous. And after the well-known report of the cornhusker, the picture was subjected to merciless editing, and only in 1988 the original version was restored, which I watched, and I also advise you to do, especially since the picture is not about politics, and not even about the war. It's about love, that's all.

As a result, we have a great comedy, with an amazing script, witty dialogues, an easy and pleasant atmosphere, and great acting!

My rating is 10 out of 10 and my recommendation for viewing!
