Actress Nargis Fakhri has expressed her excitement on joining the ‘Ott gang’, with her debut in ‘Tatlubaaz’, calling it an undeniably enticing and exhilarating experience. She will be seen alongside ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ fame TV actor Dheeraj Dhoopar, who is also making his Ott debut with this series.

Nargis made her acting debut with a lead role in Imtiaz Ali’s musical romantic drama ‘Rockstar’ in 2011, opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Reflecting on her foray into the ever-evolving landscape of Ott, Nargis said:

“In the ever-evolving landscape of Ott, the surge of captivating content has made joining the ‘Ott gang’ undeniably enticing. Having worked in films previously, the opportunity to dive into a series was a refreshing and exhilarating experience for me.”

‘Tatlubaaz’ will stream on Epic On, the Ott platform under the IN10 Media Network umbrella. Talking about the same, Nargis added:

The upcoming edition of Jagran Film Festival will hold a retrospective of seven films of the veteran actor Anupam Kher.

These films will include ‘Saaransh’, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’, ‘Shiv Shastri Balboa’, ‘A Wednesday’, ‘Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Maara’, ‘Accidental Prime Minister’ and the yet-to-release ‘The Signature’.

With the retrospective, the 11th edition of Jagran Film Festival will honour the actor’s remarkable journey by celebrating his performances that have left an indelible mark on Indian and International cinema.

Commenting on the same, Anupam Kher shared, “Jagran Film Festival is one of the oldest and prestigious film festivals celebrating Indian and international cinema. I am overjoyed to announce that seven of my most celebrated films will be screened at the festival. I am grateful to the jury members for bestowing upon this honour on me, and giving the audience an opportunity to witness the magic of storytelling come alive. See you at the movies.

Bollywood film “Shiv Shastri Balboa,” starring Anupam Kher (“New Amsterdam” and “Silver Linings Playbook”) and Neena Gupta (“Badhaai Ho”), looks to be a feel-good family film based on the first trailer that has been released.

Rocky Balboa, the legendary Sylvester Stallone character, who, after suffering several setbacks, refused to take life’s beatings lying down, serves as an inspiration for Anupam’s Shiv Shastri in the promo.

Kher is shown showing off the red gloves, which were inspired by Rocky, to his grandson, who has no idea what he is talking about. The teaser also has appearances by Jugal Hansraj, Sharib Hashmi, and Nargis Fakhri.

Anupam Kher meets Neena Gupta in the US, who only wants to return to India. They embark on a special adventure and forge a friendship that will change their lives.

The film is directed by Ajay Venugopalan and will hit the theatres on February 10.
