Broken Ghost

02/17/2019 I didn't expect much but got a nice slo-mo building surprise. Not a suspense/thriller, more like a layering of sensible events as they happen that turns into a decent movie. Watch for yourselves and decide. Bon Appetit

Other reviewers obviously worked on the movie. Terrible beyond belief. FF through most of it and it was still a chore. Absolutely nothing happens except The Hills have Eyes is impotent with a woman who you can't possibly be impotent with. Lousy movie gets one extra star for Thompson's incredible beauty. Avoid like the plague.

Other movies along this same story line with better know actors are not as good as this one. Sure it's a somewhat slow movie with a bit of a twist so stay with it till the end. Other reviews say this is a bad movie don't listen to them. Don't go in thinking this is a horror movie, it's not maybe more of a suspense drama. Not a blood and gore film. My main point of contention is that it doesn't make much sense in the end. All the plot lines cross at some point, but then they continue past each other to become a frayed end of their own. So if you are expecting something that makes sense, don't watch this film. Cinematography is excellent, and the acting decent. Characters seem to be random in their motivations, and they are given some back story that helps us to understand partially why they are the way they are. But overall, I was left uncertain about anything that happened prior, so their characters seem to act out of selfish motivations only. Too bad, as while I enjoyed the watching of the film, the emptiness of it became too much to tolerate to actually enjoy the film.

Very drawn out and boring. You can't get into it. Should have had more background about the family.
