A new month means new Tubi additions. While you have to pay to watch classics and underrated productions on most streaming services, Tubi is not one of them. This month, there's a lot to look forward to watching on the streamer, from comedies to action films and even an underrated 2009 movie starring a WWE legend. John Cena's acting catalog is almost as iconic as his wrestling career. While viewers "can't see him" in the ring, he's fully visible while playing fictional characters, especially Danny Fisher in 12 Rounds, which is available on the free streaming service now.
In the action thriller, Fisher (Cena) finds himself in a 12-round revenge game with arms dealer Miles Jackson (Aidan Gillen). A sting operation to capture Jackson falls apart after the FBI's inside man double-crosses them. In a getaway car, the arms dealer escapes with his girlfriend, Erica Kessen (Taylor Cole), but Officers Danny...

The Batman villain Harley Quinn made her debut on the "Batman: The Animated Series" episodes "Joker's Favor", where she was voiced by actress Arleen Sorkin. The character was envisioned as a clown-like moll for the Joker, and was given a ditzy personality and a broad Noo Yawk accent. She proved to be so popular that she was eventually incorporated into Batman comic books, and soon grew to have titles of her own. Over the years, Harley Quinn has appeared in multiple TV shows and movies, most recently played in live-action by Lady Gaga in "Joker: Folie à Deux."
Fun trivia: Harley Quinn was actually preceded by a very, very similar character called Prank (Corinne Bohrer), a clown-like moll to a very Joker-like villain named the Trickster (Mark Hamill) on a 1991 episode of "The Flash." Whether or not the makers of "Batman: The Animated Series" were aware of Prank is a matter of speculation.

Wrestler-turned-Hollywood star John Cena's early filmography continues its unlikely streaming renaissance. His 2009 action movie 12 Rounds will be heading to free streaming service, Tubi on March 1.
12 Rounds, which earned a low 31% on Rotten Tomatoes, joins Cena's equally maligned The Marine on the platform's growing catalog of nostalgic B-movie offerings. Tubi's acquisition of the film comes over a decade after the film's release, at a time when Cena's Hollywood profile continues to reach new heights thanks to his performances in Peacemakerand Universal's Fast & Furious franchise. The timing also capitalizes on a pivotal era for the WWE superstar, who is currently on his wrestling retirement tour which ends in December.

Though some of you may not even be aware of this, Warner Bros. aired a Birds of Prey TV series back in 2002, which ran for 13 episodes before being abruptly cancelled despite relatively strong ratings.
The show was set in an alternate DC Comics reality, taking place years after Batman abandoned Gotham City (now known as New Gotham) and focusing on a trio of heroes joining forces as the city's new protectors in the Dark Knight's absence.
The team was made up of Bruce Wayne and Selena Kyle's daughter Helene Kyle/Huntress (Ashley Scott), Barbara Gordon/Oracle (Dina Meyer), and Dinah Redmond/Black Canary (Rachel Skarsten), with Doctor Harleen Quinzel (Mia Sara) as their main adversary.
Birds of Prey is not exactly well-regarded (and wasn't at the time), but it has since gained something of a cult following, with most of the episodes available to watch on YouTube.

Quick Links Dwayne Johnson's Thrilling Vigilante Action Remake 'Walking Tall' Showcases Johnson's Power & Charisma
Dwayne Johnson is undeniably one of Hollywood's most charismatic and sought-after leading men, having made his silver screen debut in the 2001 blockbuster hit The Mummy Returns, a performance that would help kickstart his lucrative and enduring acting career. The WWE wrestler-turned-action hero has appeared in an array of fan-favorite hits over the years, including Central Intelligence, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Moana, and the Fast & Furious franchise, though back in the early 2000s, he was still trying to make a name for himself and prove he meant business when it came to dominating the cinema.

Mark Hamill played Joker in live-action 22 years ago, but the DC production is rarely remembered. Mark Hamill is responsible for one of the most beloved depictions of Joker that debuted in Batman: The Animated Series, though he has reprised the role for several other animated productions such as Justice League and Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. Due to how prolific he has been with the character across animation, Hamill is often considered the archetypal voice for the Joker, while Heath Ledger is often considered the quintessential Joker in live-action.
There was a significant gulf between cinematic live-action depictions of Joker between Jack Nicholson's Jack Napier in 1989 and Heath Ledger's Joker in 2008. This intervening period was ostensibly Mark Hamill's Joker era as he embodied the role most often in animation. This would extend to the only significant live-action depiction of Joker to occur between Batman and The Dark Knight, though...

Jessica Alba's breakout series, Dark Angel, boosted her profile considerably, leading to roles in major films like Sin City. Dark Angel debuted during a time dominated by female-driven action series like Xena and Buffy, showcasing Alba's depth and toughness. Despite having achieved some box office hits and films that are fondly remembered, the DC cinematic universe has not achieved the expected success so far. In fact, the main achievements made by the comic book company in terms of screen adaptations in recent years have mostly come from television with the Arrowverse or in the animated format.
Since the premiere of Smallville in 2001, the invasion of the DC series on The CW was imminent, seeing how well these productions worked. What they did not imagine is that they would be able to achieve what was not being achieved in theaters.
A year before Zack Snyder took the first steps towards building his extended universe with Man of Steel, The CW was already planting the seeds for its own with the premiere of Arrow. In 2014, The Flash joined, and the rest is history.

The best Bigfoot movies are about as elusive as the creature himself. Despite Hollywood's love for making films about ghosts, man-eating animals, ogres, and dragons, the industry has seemingly snubbed the mythical giant ape some call Sasquatch. But despite Tinsel Town's lack of love for the big guy, there have been some pretty interesting, unique, and downright scary Bigfoot movies, that, while not appealing to mainstream audiences, have been hits with genre fans. While there were movies about all the other horror monsters through the years, the first Bigfoot movie didn't even arrive until 1970.
This is despite the creature getting its first mention all the way back in the 1700s when stories of hairy creatures in the forests would scream loudly and steal livestock. This led to stories of shape-shifting creatures, adding a supernatural tint to the idea of the Bigfoot monsters. By the 1800s, there were stories in different parts of the world,...

Many DC TV shows have been big hits, but there have been some that sadly did not last long. The superheroes of DC Comics have frequently been seen on cinema screens, but they are just as ubiquitous on television screens, as well. Many animated and live-action shows have brought the heroes of DC to life, with shows like Smallville and Superman & Lois becoming standalone hits, while the shows of the Arrowverse formed an interconnected DC universe on the small screen.
However, among the many DC TV shows like Smallville that have been produced, there are also some that never rose to such heights. Some even ended up being prematurely ended, due to budgetary issues, declining ratings, or a confluence of circumstances that hit them at the wrong time. Here are six DC TV shows that fell victim to such bad situations, and ended before they could fully hit their stride.

Paul Walker enjoyed a lengthy career in Hollywood that carried him through various roles in several unique movies before his unfortunate death in 2013 at just 40 years old. Fans likely remember him best as Brian O'Conner in the "Fast and Furious" franchise, but the talented and handsome actor also appeared in critical hits such as "Pleasantville," "Joy Ride," and Clint Eastwood's "Flags of Our Fathers," and served as executive producer on the films "Vehicle 19," "Hours," and "Pawn Shop Chronicles." He even enjoyed a guest spot on National Geographic's "Expedition Great White" in 2009.
In his youth, Walker popped up in a variety of high-profile TV shows, among them "Highway to Heaven," "Charles in Charge," "Who's the Boss," and "Touched by an Angel," before making the leap to schlocky B-movie horror films such as "Tammy and the Rex," opposite Denise Richards, in which his character's brain somehow lands inside a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Since fans found out that The CW was tackling the multiversal crossover last year – with a title card at the end of “Elseworlds” confirming it – it’s all they’ve been talking about. To say the hype is high would be an understatement, but here to hike it up even higher is this final trailer for the five-part extravaganza, which launches on Sunday.
Of course, it would already be the franchise’s biggest ever event even if it just featured the heroes of the six DC/CW shows coming together, but we can expect even more than Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), the Flash (Grant Gustin), Batwoman (Ruby Rose), White Canary (Caity Lotz) and Black Lightning (Cress Williams) to show up in “Crisis.” For instance,...

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s… literally every CW superhero you could possibly imagine, and then some. The network on Tuesday released the final trailer for this year’s Arrowverse crossover, “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” a five-part event that brings together key players from across the multiverse to defeat the Anti-Monitor and save their worlds.
This year’s crossover — which spans episodes of Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow — is so massive, in fact, that The CW is even bringing Black Lightning into the fold.

The amount of heroes taking part in “Crisis on Infinite Earths” is truly staggering. But the really mind-blowing part is that we still don’t know all of the surprise cameos that The CW has managed to pull off. Here’s one more that we can maybe add to the never-ending list, though.
Don’t get your hopes up too high just yet, but apparently, it’s possible that Gotham star David Mazouz will be returning as Bruce Wayne in the crossover event. We Got This Covered has had it confirmed by two separate sources that an appearance from Mazouz’s Bruce was in early drafts of the script, as with the cameos from the Titans and Doom Patrol casts that we’ve previously heard about. However, our sources are unable to confirm whether it actually ended up happening, as possible contractual obligations and scheduling conflicts could’ve gotten in the way.

We know a lot about “Crisis on Infinite Earths” so far, including many of the stars from across the DC multiverse who will be appearing in the biggest Arrowverse crossover we’ve ever seen. However, if you think you know it all, then you’ve got another thing coming, as Ep Marc Guggenheim has promised fans that there are yet more surprises being added to the event even now.
The Arrow producer was asked by a fan on Twitter if there are “any more appearances that haven’t been leaked yet” in the crossover. Guggenheim replied with an answer that will thrill fans. “Yes,” he confirmed. “We still have a few tricks up our sleeves.” And here’s the really interesting part. “And we’re working everyday on more,” he said.

The first promo for “Crisis on Infinite Earths” is finally here. Four Sundays from today and we’ll be settling down to watch the first couple of installments of the latest Arrowverse crossover and to mark the occasion, The CW has now shared our first look at some footage from the event. Sure, it’s only 15 seconds long, but it definitely helps hike our hype up even higher.
Seen above, the short teaser compiles two clips as well as a couple of brief shots of some of the heroes. To begin with, in a green-tinted alien landscape, we see the Monitor (Lamonica Garrett) face off against a curious semi-circle of heroes and one villain – the Flash (Grant Gustin), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Martian Manhunter (David Harewood), Ryan Choi (Osric Chau) and Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer). As I’ve said on numerous occasions, one thing in particular that I’m already liking about “Crisis on Infinite Earths” is that it’s incorporating actors from various DC TV shows from the past so that we truly get that “Infinite Earths” feel. Despite a denial from Tom Ellis saying Lucifer Morningstar won’t show up, I won’t be convinced of his absence until I actually see the crossover for myself. But on the plus side, there is confirmation on Batman ’66’s Burt Ward and Birds of Prey‘s Ashley Scott putting in appearances.
Speaking of Ashley Scott, it turns out that she’s finally reported for duty. Thanks to Canadagraphs, we now know that she’s filmed for The Flash‘s part of the crossover at the very least. For those keeping track, that’ll be the third chapter to air in the saga, which’ll also...

With all we’ve been hearing lately regarding “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” we can’t say we’re all that surprised when it comes to any guest role being announced. After all, this unprecedented crossover event spans far beyond the Arrowverse itself, as the producers have already acquired the services of Smallville‘s Tom Welling and Erica Durance, Birds of Prey‘s Ashley Scott and even Batman ’66’s Burt Ward.
That said, you couldn’t fault anyone living on Planet Earth for thinking Tom Ellis showed up to film a cameo as Lucifer Morningstar when he was spotted in the area of where “Crisis on Infinite Earths” is currently shooting. I know he technically plays a Vertigo character, sure, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to see such a beloved series represented.

At this point, I think it’s safe to say that “Crisis on Infinite Earths” is a dream come true for DC fans, the likes of which none of us ever thought would be realized. I mean, not only is it cool enough that Marv Wolfman and George Perez’s masterwork is being adapted to live action in the first place, but we’ll also see no less than three Supermen – played by Tom Welling, Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh, respectively – united on the small screen.
That said, it’d probably take us the rest of the day to list off each and every superhero to play some sort of role in this massive crossover event. Heck, the producers have even reached as far as securing the services of Batman ’66 alum Burt Ward and Birds of Prey‘s Ashley Scott. If that doesn’t get across the point of how infinite Earths will be represented,...

If anything, the past couple weeks have been huge for news pertaining to “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” I mean, not only did we get our first look at Brandon Routh in his Kingdom Come Superman costume, but it was also confirmed that Birds of Prey‘s Ashley Scott will return as the Huntress.
On top of that, it’s been revealed that Arrow‘s Audrey Marie Anderson will play a pivotal role in the crossover event as well. As it turns out, Lyla Michaels’ code name of “Harbinger” will finally be paid off at long last. Having been introduced during the show’s first season, I’d never thought her character would go to the logical sci-fi extent and instead exist as a nice nod to her comic book counterpart, but here we are.

Crossovers are a time for bringing back old fan favorities, and that’s definitely true of “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” The Arrowverse’s latest event is the biggest one ever, as can be seen from the presence of multiversal stars like Smallville‘s Tom Welling on the cast list. And here’s another another popular face from The CW-verse’s past who could be returning for the superhero extravaganza: Wentworth Miller Aka Captain Cold.
We Got This Covered has been told by our sources that the former Legends of Tomorrow star is in talks to show up in “Crisis.” This info comes from the same sources who previously let us know about Welling and Kat McNamara taking part before their involvement was made official, so there’s no reason to doubt it. We should stress, however, that Miller’s just in talks at the moment and it’s not 100% that he’ll drop by.

We’ve got a new photo from the set of DC’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event series to share with you today. This is a great one as it features Brandon Routh's Kingdom Come Superman meeting Tyler Hoechlin's Earth-38 version of Superman from the Supergirl series and they are both in costume.
I just wish that Tom Welling would have joined in on the fun in this image! I seriously doubt he’s going to suit up in a Superman costume, though. I’d be shocked if he did.
A lot of fans are excited for this crossover, even the fans that don’t even watch any of these shows. This is going to be epic!

Some Super-vision clearly will be required for Arrowverse fans when they watch the CW’s upcoming “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover event, which promises to be the largest assemblage of superheroes in a live-action epic in TV history. That team-up will include no fewer than three once and future Superman actors, and two of them — Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh — met up Tuesday and, during a break from shooting, the Men of Steel posed for a photo in the Daily Planet lobby in make-believe Metropolis.
The moment was preserved for posterity (see below) on the Instagram account of Routh (who wore the cape in the 2006 feature film Superman Returns), who was all smiles as he palled around with Hoechlin, who has been the CW’s “local” Man of Steel since guest starring on Supergirl in 2016. Not in the photo: Tom Welling, the Smallville star who also is back in Clark Kent mode for the crossover.

Arrow has huge plans for its farewell run… though series star Stephen Amell may be a bit hesitant to admit it.
When asked about the “humongous” teases made by producers at the CW series’ final Television Critics Association press tour panel, Amell sarcastically quipped to TVLine shortly afterward, “Well, that’d be the first time a showrunner had said, ‘It’s huge.'” And yet, just minutes later, while previewing Season 8’s action-packed start, Amell had to chuckle at himself before letting these words slip: “I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but… the first two episodes are huge.

One thing in particular that I’m liking about “Crisis on Infinite Earths” before I’ve even had a chance to see it is how the crossover pays respect to various DC TV shows to have preceded the Arrowverse. In case you hadn’t heard, Smallville alumni Tom Welling and Erica Durance will reprise their respective roles as Clark Kent and Lois Lane, with Birds of Prey‘s Ashley Scott also being set to once again suit up as the Huntress.
Having established that, I’m sure those of us who’ve been around a little longer were hoping to see a few more faces from Smallville making guest appearances. With Michael Rosenbaum turning down a chance to come back as Lex Luthor, it’s understandable that focus has shifted over to the man who took up the mantle of Green Arrow long before Stephen Amell.

If Arrowverse producers really intend on making their “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover event feel like it’s exploring infinite Earths, then it’s in their best interest to expand well beyond the TV shows they’ve developed. Amazingly, they’ve been granted permission to do so by tapping into past DC-based series by integrating John Wesley Shipp’s Flash into “Elseworlds” last year (we assume that’s the role he’s playing this fall), not to mention reeling in Smallville alumni such as Tom Welling and Erica Durance for the Crisis itself.
Believe it or not, Ashley Scott is the latest to be added to the headcount, as she’ll slip back into her role from Birds of Prey. Though it ran for only one season during the 2002-03 broadcast year, the show did have its moments, so I’m excited to see Ashley playing the Huntress once again.

The original Titans were more fun.
Titans Season 2 Episode 4 took us to the past to reveal how Deathstroke dismantled what was once a very successful team of heroes.
Of course, that meant we got to meet Dick, Donna, Dawn, and Hank when they were in different stages in their lives.
It was en episode needed to help viewers fully understand why these characters are so scared of Deathstroke in the present timeline.
In most cases, exposition of this caliber is not needed, but there was so much hurt from the killer's actions that I walked away from this episode was flawlessly executed.
Many people skip these types of episodes because they take away from the action, but it was done so perfectly, and everyone must watch it.

Brandon Routh has finally stepped back in Superman’s tights, with The CW releasing the first image of one of its three Men of Steel from its upcoming “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover event.
Routh previously portrayed the DC Comics hero in the 2006 film “Superman Returns.” However, as you can see below, the version Routh will play on the crossover is different. It’s based on the “Kingdom Come” version of Superman that starred in a four-issue series DC published under its Elsewords imprint. It’s set in the year 2020 and follows an older Man of Steel.
Jordon Nuttall/The CW
Routh will be joined by fellow Supermen Tyler Hoechlin, who plays the Superman that had shown up in the “Arrowverse” so far, as well as Tom Welling reprising his version of Clark Kent from “Smallville.”

Crisis On Infinite Earths is going to be a nostalgic affair.
Another new name has been added to the cast of the 2019 Arrowverse crossover, and this one is quite the surprise.
TV Line is reporting that Ashley Scott will reprise her Huntress role from the one-and-done Birds of Prey during the five-part event.
Scott played the Helena Kyle on that series, and viewers will find out what became of the character following the conclusion of the series in 2003.
Birds of Prey was saddled with low ratings from the get-go, meaning that it did not survive beyond the initial 13 episodes ordered.
The series also starred Dina Meyer as Batgirl and Rachel Skarsten as Black Canary.
This will not be the first time the Huntress has appeared in the Arrowverse. That honor goes to Jessica De Gouw, who recurred on Arrow's first two seasons.

This will not be the first time the Huntress has appeared in the Arrowverse. That honor goes to Jessica De Gouw, who recurred on Arrow's first two seasons.

A new Atom and a new show are on tap for the Crisis multiverse
The onset of autumn means several things: leaves changing, pumpkin spice everything, and a new show from the DC TV back catalogue being welded to the Arrowverse in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
The latest show to be hammered in is Birds of Prey, the 2002 one season wonder from the old WB. Ashley Scott returns as Helena Kyle, the Huntress of that show, for Crisis. Birds of Prey starred Scott as Huntress, Dina Meyer as Batgirl, and Batwoman’s Rachel Skarsten as Black Canary.
They’ll be joined by Osric Chau. Chau will not be linking his old show, Supernatural, to the crossover, though. Instead, he’s going to be playing Ryan Choi, a character who has not yet appeared in any live action DC TV show on any network. Choi is a mild-mannered professor at Ivy Town University.

The CW is reaching far back into the DC Comics TV canon for its latest “Crisis on Infinite Earths” casting. Ashley Scott has joined the ever-expanding crossover event as Helena Scott aka The Huntress.
It’s the same role she played on the short-lived TV version of “Birds of Prey,” which lasted just one season in 2002 on The CW’s predecessor network, The WB. The series ran for 13 episodes before being canceled due to low ratings.
This is not to be confused with the upcoming “Birds of Prey” film, which will see Mary Elizabeth Winstead play the Huntress, alongside Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary and Margot Robbie returning as Harley Quinn from “Suicide Squad.” Ewan McGregor and Rosie Perez also star in the film.

Another new name has been added to the call sheet for Arrowverse’s “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover, and it’s quite the throwback. TVLine has learned exclusively that Ashley Scott will appear in the five-part event as Huntress aka Helena Kyle, the character she played on the short-lived DC Comics drama Birds of Prey.
Premiering in 2002 on the now-shuttered WB, Birds of Prey also starred Dina Meyer as Batgirl and Rachel Skarsten (now the upcoming Batwoman‘s No. 1 baddie) as Black Canary. The series ran for 13 episodes before being cancelled due to low ratings.
