Digital Spy has officially confirmed that The Marlow Murder Club has been renewed for a third season, which comes shortly after Season 2’s arrival on small screens in the U.K. earlier this year. In addition, filming has already begun on the new installment with fan-favorites set to make an epic return. Keep in mind that Season 2 will land on PBS Masterpiece in the U.S. later this year.

The Marlow Murder Club is one of the exciting new PBS Masterpiece TV shows.

The adaptation of Robert Thorogood’s novel premieres its first season on October 27 in a four part series starring Samantha Bond as Judith Potts, Jo Martin as Suzie Harris, Cara Horgan as Becks Starling and Natalie Dew as DS Tanika Malik.

In the series, Judith, Suzie and Becks start an investigation. To assist with official police investigation, headed by Tanika, They must suspect witnesses, and face down real danger as they work against the clock to stop the killer in their tracks.

With Season 1 coming to an end on Sunday (November 17), fans are curious whether the show will be getting a second season.

The James Bond movies have never been afraid to make changes to the original 007 novels, some better than others. Every James Bond movie prior to 1989's License to Kill shares a title with one of Ian Fleming's works. While some serve as faithful adaptations that make only minor tweaks to the source material, others are unrecognizable from the original novels in almost every way but name. As time has gone on and as Fleming's material has run out, the films have increasingly chosen to tell original James Bond stories. Many of these, however, still take small fragments of inspiration from the books.

Pamela Salem, who portrayed Miss Moneypenny in the non-Eon James Bond movie Never Say Never Again, has passed away at the age of 80.

Although Daniel Craig's era as James Bond did an admirable job of honoring the character's rich cinematic history, this period in the movie series wasn't afraid to make some interesting creative changes. Both with its tone – a markedly grittier approach than previous incarnations – and with its reinterpretation of classic characters, Craig's Bond was a radical departure from the franchise formula. While not every change was warmly received, there's no doubt that this version of the spy saga has left its mark.

The fourth and final appearance of Brosnan as the MI6 agent, Die Another Day, is often cited as the worst film in the franchise, despite being the highest-grossing Bond film at the time. Drawing criticism for its over-the-top use of humor and camp style, Berry's outing as Jinx at least offered a more empowered version of the typical "arm candy" function of the Bond Girl, having a more active role alongside Bond.

Hounded, also released as Hunted outside the UK, is the latest cinematic variation on The Most Dangerous Game. It takes elements from films like Don’t Breathe, Nefarious, and Turkey Shoot then adds the very upper-class British tradition of fox hunting. The result is a not-so-subtle survival horror metaphor for class warfare.

Leon and his brother Chaz along with their partners Vix and Tod have a good racket going on. Gregory, the local antique dealer hires them to rob his own customers. It’s good money for a quick in and out, grabbing the one item of value he wants.

Pitting a group of Peckham housebreakers against the fox-hunting set, its satire is blunt-nosed and its prole-coursing spree never quite devious enough. But it still has a certain vindictive thrill.

Review: We’ve seen the “Most Dangerous Game” story told in many different ways, yet Hunted manages to still be entertaining despite knowing where it’s going for most of the duration. And I think it’s because they go the smart route of keeping this small. This is a singular group being hunted by another singular group. This isn’t some large conspiracy that spans the entire world, which immediately goes into the realm of fantasy. The film’s greatest strength is just how real the situation feels.

Saban Films has unveiled an official US trailer for an indie action thriller titled Hunted, formerly known as Hounded when it premiered at FrightFest in the UK last month. Arriving in the US in theaters and on VOD starting in October. The film comes from the UK and is described as a "seriously suspenseful action-thriller." A stately home robbery takes an evil turn one night when a gang of young thieves are caught by the owners of the house and then hunted across the estate for the proprietor's entertainment. Sounds like a bit of a twist on "The Most Dangerous" game concept, along with some wealthy estate owners being royal assholes. Arrow Video FrightFest, the UK’s most popular horror and fantasy film festival, is back at London’s Cineworld Leicester Square and the Prince Charles Cinema from Thursday August 25th – Monday 29th August for five days of the very best of global genre cinema. The festival opens with the World premiere of The Lair, an action-packed gore shocker from Neil Marshall, who calls his latest monstrous creation “The Dirty Half Dozen meets The Thing”. According to Variety, Dreamland is about the secrets, lies, loves, and aspirations within a family of four sisters and is set in the British seaside town of Margate. It is described as “a dark comedic exploration of multi-generational female relationships, and their (somewhat dysfunctional) family dynamics.” In addition to Agyeman and Allen, the cast includes Kiell Smith-Bynoe (Stath Lets Flats), Gabby Best (Pls Like), Aimee-Ffion Edwards (Peaky Blinders), Frances Barber (Doctor Who), and Sheila Reid (Benidorm). It may be this year’s ‘comfort food’ film but Julian Fellowes’ second theatrical sequel to his revered long-running TV show is quality goods — and may be better than the first one. Almost every actor is back, seemingly pleased as plum puddings to repeat their roles as either landed nobility or downstairs staff. The storyline ties a final bow on some characters and plot lines, and in a far more pleasing way than we thought possible. Even casual fans of the franchise ought to be charmed.
