The streaming service has a number of great series – both new and long-running – like “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and anime juggernaut “Attack on Titan.” Both well worth any fan’s time but for very different reasons. There is something for every subset of fantasy fan.

Micheal Ward, the widely famed fan-beloved Top Boy star, is currently facing some seriously career-threatening allegations. As the latest reports have it, he has been charged with r-pe.

According to details from BBC News, citing the Metropolitan Police, the Jamaican-born British actor is reportedly charged with two counts of r-pe and three counts of s-xual assault. These accused offences relate to one woman only and reportedly took place in January 2023.

After almost half a decade, Black Clover fans finally have some good news. A brand-new season of the Shonen Jump series was revealed at Anime Expo 2025, complete with a first trailer and a new anime visual.

Per a press release, Crunchyroll officially announced the return of the Black Clover anime series at its industry panel held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at this year’s Anime Expo convention held in Los Angeles, California. Black Clover Season 2 will air exclusively on Crunchyroll, picking up where the 2015 anime series left off. Studio Pierrot, the Japanese anime studio behind Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, will continue its adaptation of the Shonen Jump manga. An official release date has not been announced yet. However, Crunchyroll released the first teaser trailer for Black Clover Season 2.

X-Men superstar Storm’s latest fit is the result of a few key sources of inspiration, including an homage to the anime Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Author Murewa Ayodele cited the series as the reference point he used to help craft a stand-out Storm scene from Marvel’s upcoming Hellfire Vigil one-shot.

Speaking with Aipt for X-Men Monday, Ayodele discussedX-Men: Hellfire Vigil #1, which he contributed to, alongside much of Marvel’s X-Office. Along with artist Luciano Vecchio, Ayodele discussed the genesis of Storm’s latest look.

While today's anime recommendation isn't quite as popular in terms of sheer sales as the Big Three, it's a consensus pick for the best anime series of all time.

Specifically, we're taking a look at Fullmetal Alchemist. As of this writing, the series is currently the number-two ranked series on fan ranking site MyAnimeList, surpassed only by Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. A few weeks after Walter Salles’s “I’m Still Here” made history as the first-ever Brazilian film to win an Oscar, the country continues its great momentum with “Raul Seixas: Let Me Sing,” the first Brazilian series to ever play France’s Series Mania, the largest TV event in Europe.
