Nothing but a lot of self-awareness can get someone to admit that they might be wrong, and since Kohrra is set in the present day, expecting people close to you to not to be selfish is difficult.

Under the garb of an investigative drama, the makers and the writers take the audience through the lives of the rich and the middle class families and all the while, slowly and steadily, uncomfortable truths come out. In this town topics such as equality and feminism have not reached the locals; it is always lived experience that makes individuals grow as human beings.

Kohrra is filled with parent figures who are unable to come to terms with the fact that their kids are individuals, they are allowed to have an opinion, and they intend to live on their terms.

Life is full of hard lessons, and learning them could cost you your very life. That’s what young Liam Sommers finds out in “The Lesson,” which hit theaters in the United States on Friday, July 7.

Sommers gets an opportunity he thinks is once-in-a-lifetime; the opportunity to move in with his idol, the writer J.M. Sinclair at his family’s estate while Liam works at a tutoring position. But Liam soon discovers he’s stumbled into a dark web of family secrets, resentment and revenge. The Sinclair family all hides a horrifying secret, one that threatens to envelop Liam as well.

The movie currently sits at 82% on Rotten Tomatoes, good enough to earn it a “Certified Fresh” rating. Critics say the tense drama and top-notch performances from the actors will give you chills, no matter how hot the weather outside might be.

The Boys stars Erin Moriarty and Jensen Ackles explained how shooting the superhero series' infamous "Herogasm" episode took its toll on both the cast and crew.

Per Variety, during a Prime Video FYC panel, the two stars discussed their experiences filming "Herogasm for The Boys Season 3. "It was like walking into an orgy house," Moriarty said. She further described how the set was plagued by a variety of adult toys then. "There were things and shapes that I thought, 'These would pierce an organ, most people wouldn't survive them.' But of course, they exist," the actor continued. "I don't understand, but I learned a lot." Ackles later claimed that Moriarty "looked like [she] had just come out of war" while filming "Herogasm."

Originally running from 2010 to 2013, Spartacus followed the rise and eventual defeat of the famous Thracian gladiator who led a slave rebellion against the might of Rome. Initially played by the late Andy Whitfield, McIntyre stepped in to assume the show’s leading role for two seasons, Spartacus: Vengeance and Spartacus: War of the Damned. Breaking Infinity is the kind of film I both love and dread seeing on my review schedule. I love it because indie science fiction is frequently full of interesting ideas and concepts that bigger-budget films don’t deal with. I hate it because, often due to their indie budgets, they can’t do those ideas justice. This film had created a bit of a buzz on its festival run, but could it live up to the hype?
