This directional debut of the Spanish actress, stand-up comedian and TV hostess Eva Hache deals with a young girl is preparing her doctoral thesis which will be examined the next day. After 5 years full of sacrifices, the responsible Sonia has finally finished thesis, now she only has to defend her in court. However, an encounter with a friend in a bar leaves her without money and without the keys to the house and nor mobile phone. From now on, she wanders through a series of threatening and surreal misadventures. Lost en route is only the first of the night's many increasingly menacing incidents with neurotic 'madrileños', all apparently determined to prevent his returning home alive. The only day in which Sonia is forced to improvise everything in her life becomes an adventure full of fateful incidents. Sonia then is forced to abandon her firm and upright principles.

An absurd, edgy black comedy that's filled with novel twists and turns and often more stilted than funny. So, in a single night, an orderly and controlling woman will be forced to do everything she has not dared to do in thirty-six years. Our starring inexorably sinks into a whirpool of mad and silly emotions, but a tight and witty script and adequately tuned performances, perilously balanced between normality and insanity, keep the laughs flowing, while the direction is somewhat newbie but duly professional. Pushed by Alex de la Iglesia (El dia de la Bestia, Las brujas de Zugarrumendi,Veneciafrenia, El Bar, 30 monedas ) who produced the film along with his wife Carolina Bang, the comedian and showwoman Eva Hache set out to direct this black comedy with a number of incidents and setbacks that our unfortunate protagonist suffers throughout one night. Absolute starring is Ana Polvorosa as the disciplined ,controller and responsible woman for whom everything goes wrong, she gives a sympathetic acting. A better secondary cast is missing, or even cameos, since the majority of the supposrt cast is practically unknown to the general public.

This film belongs to the sub-genre of senseless chases, following the American style of films such as Jonatham Demme's Something Wild or Martin Scorsese's After hours. In its development, more than once the rhythm will be confused with a trepidation, a pure succession of impacts, which rather than amusing events or spectacular stuns. It is the core problem of a film containing an abrupt ending like few others, which wastes situations and some sweet ideas. Rating: 5.5/10. Average but passable and acceptable.
