Terrible animation, unfunny jokes, incoherent universe structure, boring violence, too many deus ex machinas, interesting character designs and dilemmas immediately skipped over for lame main cast of schmucks who are less interesting to listen and watch than actual planks of wood.
It's like watching R rated Uncle Grandpa if it were made by a boring has been uncle.

Just really liked the humour, havnt actually laughed at a show in ages. Much better than rick and morty which is both intense, boring and not funny at the same time.
Season 1 is infinitely better but that still doesn't diminish Season 2's hilarity. A great animated series that is greatly benefited from quirky writing and Justin Roiland's Chubby Wubbers, and the many other various extras Justin voices.
If you like Rick and Morty's Interdimensional Cable, then you'll like Hot Streets. It doesn't make any sense and honestly it doesn't have to, it's just funny if you don't over think it.
This isn't a typical comedy show. At least not in the sense that there is typical jokes. It gets is humor from being nonsensical, ironic and self aware. I would compare this show to most memes and rappers now a days. Its aware of how ridiculous it is and thrives because of it. The dialogue is serious and dramatic in awkward situations, and cartoony and campy at times that doesnt call for it. Thanks to the input from Seth Green and Justin Roiland, the oneliners-per-minute ratio is near "Ron Burgandy" levels. Simply put, imagine if you had an interdimensional cable box from Rick and Morty (another more popular project of Roiland's). Now imagine a primetime detective show that you might see emanating from that insanity box and that would essentially be Hot Streets. And for that reason I cant promise it will be for everyone. If your looking for "relatable" situations then this might not be your speed. However, if you genuenly dont mind being confused, and you enjoy the interdimensional cable episodes of Rick and Morty, or if you enjoy vintage Adult Swim (Space Ghost, The Brak Show, Harvey Birdman, Sealab, ATHF, etc.) Then Hot Streets is definitely worth checking out!

- TriviaIn the episode titled "Super Agent 2" Season 2 Episode 3, the ruler Senkah the Shamer bares some interesting resemblance to the witch Yubaba/(Yubaaba) from the Studio Ghibli/Disney film Spirited Away. They both possess a shorter than average stature (relevant to other characters), have an over-sized head, are heavy smokers, are somewhat elderly in appearance, use a long cigarette holder, have a raspy voice, have long bell-shaped dresses, and are both oppressive rulers.
