The most well-known Kardashian/Jenner businesses include Kylie Jenner's cosmetics line, Kim Kardashian's Skims shapewear, and Kourtney Kardashian Barker's supplement line, Poosh. Even the ultra-private Rob Kardashian has a business of his own being the owner of sock line Arthur George.

It comes as no surprise that these siblings attempt to launch new ventures occasionally. They are well aware of their massive fan base and know whatever they sell will sell-out. Perhaps the most exciting piece of content coming to Hulu in July 2020 is…a movie? Remember those? You would buy a ticket and then go sit in a dark room with other people eating Buncha Crunch. Sounds wild!

Yes, more and more feature films are turning to streaming services for their summer releases. And with their list of new offerings for July 2020, Hulu got itself a big fish. Palm Springs is a Groundhog Day-style comedy starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti as star-crossed lovers forced to live the same day over and over again. It premieres on Hulu on July 10.

In today’s TV news roundup, Showtime sets the premiere date for season 4 of its docu-series “The Circus,” and Pop TV orders a new coming-of-age comedy “Best Intentions.”

Casting

Hulu has added four new series regulars to its upcoming original series “Reprisal.” Craig Tate is joining the cast as former Special Forces operative Earl, Wavvy Jonez as Earl’s cousin Cordell, Shane Callahan as Bru, a member of the Banished Brawlers, and Rory Cochrane as Burt, the reclusive gang leader. Created and executive produced by Josh Corbin, the series follows a femme-fatale who, after being left for dead, seeks revenge against her brother and his fellow gang members. Previously announced series regulars include Abigail Spencer, Rodrigo Santoro, Mena Massoud, Rhys Wakefield, Madison Davenport, Gilbert Owuor, David Dastmalchian and W. Earl Brown.

Khloé Kardashian is doubling down on the true crime genre with a spin-off of Investigation Discovery’s Twisted Sisters.

Kardashian, the daughter of O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Kardashian, is to exec produce Twisted Love (w/t), a six-part series that will explore what happens when love and affection spiral into a twisted web of extreme obsession and jealousy.

Twisted Love will follow investigators as they dissect complicated relationships between spouses, friends and family members to answer the question: Who felt a love so strong it drove them to kill?

The show is produced by Red Arrow Studios-owned 44 Blue Productions , the company behind Twisted Sisters as well as Hollywood Medium and Wahlburgers. Khloé Kardashian, Stephanie Noonan Drachkovitch, David Hale and Dan Snook are executive producers and Tammy Wood is showrunner.

Discovery Inc. made a splashy presentation of an expanded programming lineup at its upfront Tuesday evening, touting the breadth of the lifestyle niches the cable group serves after acquiring the parent company of Food Network, Hgtv and Travel Channel for $14.6 billion earlier this year.

Discovery president-ceo David Zaslav opened the session at Alice Tully Hall by talking up the appeal of the company’s “functional content” as good counter-programming at a time when the TV world is awash in scripted programs.

“We don’t do red carpet, we don’t do Hollywood stars,” Zaslav said. “We pretty much don’t have actors.”

Discovery’s differentiator is that its core channels are built around subjects that have natural and often passionate affinity groups. Viewers of Discovery, Animal Planet, Food Network, Science Channel and such “tune in for a curated brand that gets them.”

Khloé Kardashian will exec produce new, original series Twisted Sisters for Investigation Discovery, six episodes of true-crime described by ID as a look “inside the most outrageous and provocative crimes ever committed by the unlikeliest of pairs – sisters.”

Set for a premiere in 2019, Twisted Sisters will be produced by 44 Blue Productions, a Red Arrow Studios company.
