Developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, the teen fantasy horror drama series is based on the book series of the same name by author L.J. Smith and it follows Elena, who faces high school after just having lost her parents, and on her first day back she sees Stefan a brooding guy in a black jacket who is hiding a lot of things, for instance, his brother Damon and the fact that both of them are vampires. Legacies Series Finale Promo: How Will It End?
Matthew Davis, Peyton 'Alex' Smith, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Aria Shahghasemi, and Quincy Fouse in Since When Do You Speak Japanese? (2019)
It's been a turbulent road for The CW's Legacies, but it's hard to believe the series wraps up for good in less than a week.

Legacies Season 4 Episode 20 has a big task:

It has to wrap up the series in a satisfying fashion while also saying goodbye to The Vampire Diaries universe.

This journey for many of us fans began in 2009 with the original series.

Thankfully, the series finale teases a closure-filled affair as the Salvatore School students decide what to do next.

The battle with Ken came to a grinding halt on Legacies Season 4 Episode 19, and all that's left is for the students to process the events.

"Hope (Danielle Rose Russell), Lizzie (Jenny Boyd), Mg (Quincy Fouse), Kaleb (Chris Lee), Jed (Ben Levin), Cleo (Omono Okojie) and Alaric (Matthew Davis) reflect on recent events and what comes next for each of them," reads the official description for "Just Don't Be A Stranger,...

Legacies: Penultimate Episode Promo Teases Biggest Battle Yet
Matthew Davis, Peyton 'Alex' Smith, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Aria Shahghasemi, and Quincy Fouse in Since When Do You Speak Japanese? (2019)
The end is near for The CW's Legacies.

The series, which was canceled last month after four seasons, has just two episodes left.

On Legacies Season 4 Episode 19, airing June 9, the war between Ken and the Salvatore School finally arrives, and we should probably prepare for some more big deaths.

If you watch Legacies online, you know Kaleb was killed by Ken in one of the biggest twists in the history of the series.

This development successfully raised the stakes for everyone, but it will be intriguing to see how Cleo channels her rage into wiping out Ken for good.

Then again, The CW released the above photo for the penultimate episode, featuring Chris Lee as Kaleb.

Could it be a misdirect?

We already know Ken is proving to be a formidable foe, but the Salvatore School will have plenty of tricks up its sleeves to enact a plan of attack.

Legacies fans were dealt a huge blow last month...

The CW postponed the final three episodes of Legacies Season 4...

and then the network canceled the series.

It was a shocking turn of events, and all we can do is tune into the beloved supernatural drama when it returns Thursday, June 2.

Now, the network has released three photos for Legacies Season 4 Episode 20, aka the series finale.

We see Hope at what looks to be an assembly at the school, spearheaded by Alaric.

Given that it sounds like the battle with Ken plays out on Legacies Season 4 Episode 19, it sounds like the series finale will very much be about the aftermath of it.

"Hope (Danielle Rose Russell), Lizzie (Jenny Boyd), Mg (Quincy Fouse), Kaleb (Chris Lee), Jed (Ben Levin), Cleo (Omono Okojie) and Alaric (Matthew Davis) reflect on recent events and what comes next for each of them," reads the official description...

Legacies Canceled as The Vampire Diaries Franchise Concludes on The CW
Matthew Davis, Peyton 'Alex' Smith, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Aria Shahghasemi, and Quincy Fouse in Since When Do You Speak Japanese? (2019)
It's officially the end of the line for Legacies.

The CW announced Thursday that the Vampire Diaries and The Originals spinoff has been canceled after four seasons.

The series starred Danielle Rose Russell as Hope Mikaelson in a role she originated on the final season of The Originals.

Legacies took place at the Salvatore School for the Young and the Gifted, and featured a cast of franchise veterans and new additions.

The school was the setting as the characters navigated their supernatural abilities, which also meant they had to decide whether to be good or evil.

Hope's arc was largely governed by her journey to become the Tribrid, which made her a vampire, a witch, and a werewolf.

The series also starred Aria Shahghasemi, Kaylee Bryant, Jenny Boyd, Quincy Fouse, Matt Davis, Chris Lee, Ben Levin, Leo Howard, and Omono Okojie.

Legacies Season 4 is currently averaging 760,000 total viewers and a...

Legacies: Final Episodes of Season 4 Delayed as Renewal Decision Looms
Matthew Davis, Peyton 'Alex' Smith, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Aria Shahghasemi, and Quincy Fouse in Since When Do You Speak Japanese? (2019)
Legacies fans, we have some bad news...

You'll have to wait a little longer for the final three episodes of Legacies Season 4.

The CW's Milwaukee affiliate shared the mind-boggling news Tuesday afternoon.

Instead of continuing as planned with a new episodes Thursdays at 9 p.m, leading to a season finale on May, 26, the series has been pushed off the air until June 2.

The season finale is now set for June 16.

No reason has been given for this decision, but it isn't anything new for the series.

Legacies, more than any other CW shows in recent years, has been randomly delayed at the last minute, leaving fans wondering what will become of their favorite series.

All we can do is speculate about why this decision was made, and there are some possibilities.

The CW has yet to renew or cancel the series, and given that Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow both got the pink slip,...

Legacies Finale Spoilers: Is This Really the End?!
Matthew Davis, Peyton 'Alex' Smith, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Aria Shahghasemi, and Quincy Fouse in Since When Do You Speak Japanese? (2019)
The CW has yet to renew or cancel Legacies, and we're growing more anxious about its prospects by the day.

Once upon a time, cancellations were rare on the network, but with the looming sale by Warner Bros. and Paramount, some shows are not making the cut.

More recently, Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow were both canceled, but we had to wait for weeks after their seasons wrapped for the formal decision.

Canceling a show before its season finale is a tough call, and it might make viewers bail on the remaining episodes, so we probably shouldn't expect a definite decision for a few weeks yet.

The network has dropped details about Legacies Season 4 Episode 20 -- the season finale -- and the episode marks Julie Plec's return to the series.

Plec was instrumental in bringing the series to life, having worked on both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.

Legacies Promo: Hope Returns to New Orleans, but Will the Mikaelsons Save Her?
Matthew Davis, Peyton 'Alex' Smith, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Aria Shahghasemi, and Quincy Fouse in Since When Do You Speak Japanese? (2019)
Saving Hope will be a tough mission.

If you watch Legacies online, you know that Klaus and Hayley's daughter recently turned her humanity off as she activated her tribrid abilities.

In doing so, a God named Ken is coming after her to reclaim his status as the most powerful being in all the world.

On Legacies Season 4 Episode 15, Freya (Riley Voelkel), Rebekah (Claire Holt), Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), and Kol (Nathaniel Buzzolic) return, presumably to help save their niece.

"Welcome home, little one," Rebekah says to a clearly surprised Hope, who finds herself back in New Orleans.f

If you watch Legacies online, you know Hope threatened her aunt the last time they crossed paths, telling her to make sure none of the family tried to stop her.

"Why won't you just go away?" Hope complains in one scene, leading to the following response from Rebekah.

"Hope, no matter how powerful we are,...

Legacies Photos: The Mikaelsons Reunite to Save Hope!
Matthew Davis, Peyton 'Alex' Smith, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Aria Shahghasemi, and Quincy Fouse in Since When Do You Speak Japanese? (2019)
It's happening, Legacies fans!

The Mikaelsons are back.

The CW has dropped some stills from Legacies Season 4 Episode 14, airing April 14, at 9/8c.

"Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) continues to be swirled in confusion and fighting her humanity, which results in her seeing the people who mean the most to her: Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt), Marcel (guest star Charles Michael Davis), Kol (guest star Nathaniel Buzolic), and Freya (guest star Riley Voelkel)," the logline teases.

"Kaleb (Chris Lee) wants to introduce Cleo (Omono Okojie) to his world, including those who had the most profound influence on his path," the logline continues.

"Meanwhile, Lizzy (Jenny Boyd) devises a plan to get in someone’s good graces," it continues.

We've already had appearances from Riley Voelkel (Freya Mikaelson) and Claire Holt (Rebekah), so having Charles Michael Davis (Marcel) and Nathaniel Buzzolic (Kol) along for the ride is sure to bring back some memories.

Legacies: The CW Confirms New Midseason Premiere Date
Matthew Davis, Peyton 'Alex' Smith, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Aria Shahghasemi, and Quincy Fouse in Since When Do You Speak Japanese? (2019)
The wait for the second half of Legacies Season 4 is considerably longer than planned.

The series was initially set for a Thursday, January 27 bow.

However, the network scrapped those plans a week ago, leaving the show without a return date.

Now, TV Line is reporting that the supernatural drama will resume Thursday, February 24.

No reason has been given for the longer-than-expected hiatus but is likely due to Covid-19.

Many TV shows have been taking longer breaks in production in response to the pandemic.

As for what we can expect from Legacies Season 4 Episode 10, the midseason premiere, the network shared the following:

"Cleo (Omono Okojie), Mg (Quincy Fouse) and Jed (Ben Levin) work together on an unusual mission," reads the official logline.

"Alaric (Matthew Davis), Landon (Aria Shahghasemi), and Ted (guest star Ben Geurens) figure out what is next for them."

"Meanwhile, an unexpected source takes Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) by surprise.

Legacies Midseason Return Postponed at The CW!
Matthew Davis, Peyton 'Alex' Smith, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Aria Shahghasemi, and Quincy Fouse in Since When Do You Speak Japanese? (2019)
The long wait for the back half of Legacies Season 4 just got longer.

KSiteTV is reporting that the planned January 27 premiere has been scrapped at The CW.

The outlet states that the show will now return "late February."

No reason has been given for the decision, but it's not difficult to speculate why the midseason debut has been delayed.

Many TV shows have announced they are postponing production this week amid rising Covid-19 cases.

Shows like Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, and The Rookie are just some of the shows to announce such a measure.

Star Trek: Picard, meanwhile, registered over 50 cases of Covid-19, with the show taking being brought to a halt.

It's possible The CW is taking the precautionary measure of delaying the return to ensure enough episodes are banked for later in the year.

The CW was forced to roll with a slate of acquired programming in fall 2020 because...

Legacies Midseason Premiere Spoilers: Is Lizzie a Heretic?
Matthew Davis, Peyton 'Alex' Smith, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Aria Shahghasemi, and Quincy Fouse in Since When Do You Speak Japanese? (2019)
Lizzie Saltzman made a big decision on Legacies Season 4 Episode 9.

If you watch Legacies online, you know Hope murdered the witch in one of the most shocking scenes on the show to date.

Thankfully, Lizzie recognized that she could use a potential death to her advantage, dying with vampire blood in her system.

The first trailer for Legacies Season 4 Episode 10 is here, and it shows Lizzie revealing she will be a Heretic.

Things are never easy on this show, so there will probably be more to the tale than that.

"Cleo (Omono Okojie), Mg (Quincy Fouse) and Jed (Ben Levin) work together on an unusual mission," reads the official logline.

Legacies Spoilers: Will Hope Destroy the Super Squad?
Matthew Davis, Peyton 'Alex' Smith, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Aria Shahghasemi, and Quincy Fouse in Since When Do You Speak Japanese? (2019)
Legacies is finally living up to its true potential.

Hope's humanity remains off on Legacies Season 4 Episode 6, airing Thursday, November 18 at 9 p.m.

Naturally, it makes things very unpredictable, and Rebekah failed to make her see sense on Legacies Season 4 Episode 5, so now it's down to the Super Squad.

If you watch Legacies online, you know Hope attacked Alaric, leaving him in a coma, something that weighs heavily on the mind of Lizzie in the preview of the episode.

Josie is clearly conflicted, worried about what will become of Hope.

The truth is, Josie understands what's going on with Hope because of her own brush with her dark side.

Whether Josie will be the person to help Hope put her humanity switch back on, I don't know, but Dark Josie and humanity-free Hope working together would make for some good TV.

Alaric remains in a coma as the Super Squad crosses paths with Hope.

Legacies Spoilers: Rebekah Mikaelson Returns! Will Alaric Die?

Will Rebekah be able to save Hope?

Legacies Season 4 Episode 5, titled "I Thought You'd Be Happier To See Me," brings Claire Holt back into the mix as Rebekah Mikaelson.

This will be the first time fans have seen the character since The Originals Season 5 Episode 13, and given the circumstances, it will be a huge episode.

"Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) is tracked down by the one person who could help her -- Rebekah Mikaelson (guest star Claire Holt)," reads the official description of the episode.

"Rebekah is fearful of what path Hope has chosen but makes every effort to get through to her," it continues.

Legacies is finally going there.

Hope Mikaelson is dead, and she has a big decision to make.

Legacies Season 4 Episode 4 was supposed to be the Legacies Season 3 finale, so we should expect many big swings to shake things up.

If you watch Legacies online, you know Freya stopped by to help Hope with her transition to becoming the most powerful being in the world.

The issue is, Hope has the opportunity to sail off to peace and potentially reunite with her mother.

She can also choose to return as the Tribrid and defeat Malivore.

A lot is riding on "See You on the Other Side," and it seems like Hope will have a group of people on their way to help.

It's fitting that the young woman who has felt so alone in life has a whole group of people putting their lives on the line to help her.

Then again,...

Are you ready to step back into the Salvatore School for the Young and the Gifted?

Legacies finally returns this week after another small hiatus, and we have a look ahead at the next three episodes of the addictive CW drama.

Legacies Season 3 Episode 11, airing Thursday and titled "You Can't Run From Who You Are," sounds like another exciting installment.

Here's the official logline:

After receiving some inspiration from Cleo (guest star Omono Okojie), Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) and Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) set out on a new mission.

However, when that plan takes an unexpected turn, Josie (Kaylee Bryant) and Wade (guest star Elijah B. Moore) step in to lend a hand.

Elsewhere, Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) enlists Mg’s (Quincy Fouse) help learning more about Finch (guest star Courtney Bandeko).

The desperate mission to save Landon's life appears to be well and truly underway.

The CW has dropped new plot details for Legacies Season 3 Episode 8, titled "Long Time, No See," which is set to air Thursday, March 25.

Based on everything we're hearing, it sounds like this could be the episode in which Landon returns to the land of the living.

"Mg (Quincy Fouse) finds himself on the outs with the Super Squad after a controversial decision he made comes to light," reads the first part of the logline.

Holding a fundraiser would mean opening the school up to outside forces, likely causing some huge problems.

Full Trailer for Los Angeles Riots Film 'Gook' From Director Justin Chon
"Yo, what does that even mean?" Samuel Goldwyn has debuted a full-length official trailer for the film titled Gook, which is a derogatory slang word in America used to describe Asians. This is yet another excellent trailer to follow-up the first one, making me seriously interested in this. The film is directed by Korean American filmmaker/actor Justin Chon, and is about two Korean American kids living in Los Angeles in the early 1990s. It's set against the backdrop of the infamous L.A. Riots during 1992. Starring Justin Chon and David So, as well as Simone Baker, Curtiss Cook Jr., Sang Chon, Omono Okojie, Ben Munoz, Cesar Garcia, Isaiah Jarel, and Kirlew Vilbon. This first premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this year, where it won the Audience Award in the low budget Next section. This is worth a look. Watch below.
