Began her TV career, in Nashville, Tennessee, as a reporter for Tennessee Mornings on Fox 17 as a traffic and weather radio reporter for MetroNetworks.

Attended King's High School in Seattle, Washington; graduated from Westmont College with a degree in political science and served her senior year as the student body president.

Born on February 15, 1980 in Seattle, Washington.

Mother of sons Chace Cournoyer (born in 2011) and Catcher Brian Cournoyer (born on July 30, 2015), and daughter Capri Mabel Cournoyer (born on September 25, 2019).
