As a child, she attended the prestigious Second Saint Petersburg Gymnasium, studying English and French, as well as ballet, theater and piano.

She briefly attended Saint Petersburg State University, studying journalism. She quickly decided she wanted to travel instead and left Russia. In 2012, she graduated from Queen Mary University of London, with a bachelor's degree in film studies.

Born in Saint Petersburg Russia, as Ksenia Petrova to Aurika Dmitrieva and Anton Petrov.

Studied Filmmaking and Screenwriting at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, CA.
