One Chicago star Tracy Spiridakos is set to play the leading role in USA Network's upcoming crime drama Anna Pigeon. Spiridakos is best known for her long-running role as Chicago P.D. character Detective Hailey Upton in the hit NBC procedural, as well as its sister shows Chicago Med and Chicago Fire.
As one of the longest-running and most popular stars in the One Chicago franchise, there's excitement for Spiridakos' new endeavor. She brought heart, vulnerability, and depth to the character of Hailey, and her Chicago P.D. season 11 departure was a big blow for the show and the franchise as a whole.

Jensen Ackles is ready to spill the tea — kind of. After months of wishing and waiting, hoping that our favorite Tracker guest star will eventually reprise his role in the upcoming third season, the Supernatural alum seems to point towards the incredible likelihood that he’ll be seen again opposite series star, Justin Hartley. While chatting with TV Insider about his new Prime Video crime drama, Countdown, Ackles, who previously appeared on the CBS procedural as Russell, the brother of Hartley’s Colter Shaw, said there’s “probably a good chance” that audiences will see his character make a comeback during the next set of episodes.
For much of his life, Colter believed that it was his brother, Russell, who was responsible for the mysterious death of their father when they were both young men. However, thanks to a huge reveal and cliffhanger in Tracker’s Season 2 finale, Colter learned...

The broadcast networks have undergone significant changes in recent years, shifting heavily toward unscripted and sports programming.
CBS has been one of the few exceptions — until now.
While ABC, NBC, Fox, and The CW have slashed their scripted lineups, CBS has remained relatively steady.
(Erik Voake/CBS)
The network recently renewed 12 scripted shows and continued expanding franchises like NCIS and FBI.
That gave fans some comfort — even with controversial cancellations like The Equalizer, FBI: International, FBI: Most Wanted, and S.W.A.T.

But all of that is now in question.
With the Skydance-Paramount merger looming, CBS is facing grave uncertainty.

“There’s a lot of stuff to uncover there,” Jensen Ackles says of Tracker, on which he recurs as Russell, the brother of Justin Hartley‘s Colter Shaw. Season 2 ended with Colter beginning to get answers about the night of their father’s death. The man Russell had seen that night was Otto (Alex Fernandez), who told Colter that yes, he pushed his father off the cliff, but also revealed that his mother (Wendy Crewson) had asked for his help. The good news is that we’ll get more answers when Season 3 premieres in October — and it sounds like Ackles should be back! While discussing his new Prime Video drama, Countdown, he tells TV Insider there’s “probably a good chance” of a return in Season 3. The issues with Tracker and the way it buries its supporting cast have been well-documented by me over the hit series’ first two seasons, but somehow, I still kept the faith that they’d figure things out and adjust.
Sadly, that is not the case.
TV Line reported on July 18 that series regulars Eric Graise (Bobby Exley) and Abby McEnany (Velma Bruin) will be departing the series ahead of its third season.
(Sonja Flemming/CBS)
For those unfamiliar, Tracker tells the tale of Colter Shaw, played by the always charming Justin Hartley, who travels across the United States finding missing things in exchange for rewards.
I say that because, while we’ve mainly seen Colter find missing persons, we’ve also seen him find a missing horse. There are levels to this reward-seeking business.

Tracker is losing two more of its regular cast members ahead of its third season. According to TV Line, Eric Graise and Abby McEnany (above) have departed the CBS series.
Justin Hartley and Fiona Rene star in the series, which follows a lone wolf survivalist who uses his expert tracking skills to help people.
TV Line said the following about the departures:
“Graise, who co-starred as master hacker Bobby Exley, and McEnany, who played Velma Bruin, were original cast members — but seldom, if ever, shared scenes with Hartley, whose alter ego really takes the whole “lone wolf” thing to heart.”
Tracker returns to CBS on October 19th.

Two of Tracker’s original cast members—Eric Graise, who plays tech specialist Bobby Exley, and Abby McEnany, who portrays Colter Shaw’s patron Velma Wiley—will not return for the forthcoming third season of the CBS drama, according to a report published July 18.
Sources close to production described the exits as a creative recalibration rather than a contract dispute, noting that both actors were offered guest appearances should future storylines require their characters. The decision leaves Justin Hartley’s Colter with a slimmed‑down core team as writers map new arcs that focus more heavily on the survivalist’s complicated family history.
Graise, a double amputee who has spoken publicly about on‑screen representation, gained praise for steering Bobby away from hacker stereotypes and toward warm comic relief. McEnany—best known for the Showtime dramedy Work in Progress—brought off‑beat humor to Velma, the Seattle bar owner who...

Tracker is coming back for a third season, but there's going to be some big changes with the cast with two big stars leaving the show.

The two respectively played main characters Bobby Exley and Velma Bruin, though they notably didn't share much screen time with star Justin Hartley. WIth the two departures, Tracker is also down to just two series regulars at this time heading into Season 3, including Hartley as Colter Shaw and Fiona Rene as Reenie Green.

It’s no secret that we’re living in the era of streaming saturation and IP gold rushes to the point of fatigue.
Ironically, the most overlooked goldmine television has barely tapped into is what flows directly to our ears: fiction podcasts!
As one of a handful of things that carried me through the pandemic, I can attest to how audio dramas have been quietly and carefully crafting deeply cinematic, emotionally charged, and narratively daring stories for years.

Shockingly, only a few have leaped to television. Homecoming, Limetown, and Archive 81 are among the most notable.
But there are so many that still lie in wait for someone to pluck them up, negotiate accordingly, and bring them from our headphones to our small screens.

Two original Tracker cast members exit the crime drama ahead of season 3’s release. Tracker season 3's release is slated for October 19, as Justin Hartley's titular character, Colter Shaw, continues to take on challenging new cases.
As reported by TVLine, Eric Graise and Abby McEnany, who played Bobby and Velma respectively, aren’t returning for Tracker season 3. Their exits come after Robin Weigert’s. She portrayed Velma’s wife Teddi, who was written out of the show after Tracker season 1’s ending, with her disappearance being motivated by Teddi and Velma separating.
Graise and McEnany’s exits leave Tracker with only two original cast members who are series regulars – Hartley and Fiona Rene, who plays lawyer Reenie Greene. While Tracker season 2 didn’t set up Graise and McEnany’s exits, they aren’t surprising, as Bobby disappeared for several season 2 episodes, and Velma’s role was less prominent.

Trackerseason 3 gets a major update, revealing when new episodes will premiere. As the top-rated drama on broadcast television, Tracker season 2 ended on a major cliffhanger. Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) had long believed that finding out the truth about what happened to his father would set him free, though it ultimately raises more painful questions.
Tracker's season 2 ending explained that it was Colter's mother who wanted her husband, Ashton Shaw (Lee Tergesen), to be murdered. Assuming the hired hitman is being truthful, it sets up a whole different dynamic for Colter when new episodes start rolling out very soon.

Good news, Sherlock Holmes fans! Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's trusty assistant will be returning to the airwaves a bit sooner than expected. Although the Morris Chestnut-led Watson was originally planned to return sometime during midseason, Deadline reports that the medical drama's sophomore outing has been moved by CBS to the fall. This will now put the series on a typical broadcast schedule, though it's a mystery when it will premiere. The news coincided with a delay to the Tom Ellis-led FBI spin-off CIA, meaning it could potentially occupy the Monday 10 p.m. time slot, or move to another spot in a scheduling change once the network announces its fall premiere dates.
Watson's return to the fall schedule is quite the twist, considering CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach had personally commented about its absence. Back in May, the series was in an awkward spot with a crowded lineup ahead...

Tracker is an action drama series starring Justin Hartley in the leading role, with Jensen Ackles in a guest-starring role as his older brother. The series has received positive reviews since its release, and, as fans await Season 2, the show keeps rising on the charts on streaming.
Tracker Season 1 premiered on Feb. 11, 2024, and Season 2 followed shortly after on Oct. 13, 2024, with a longer season. The series, which is produced by 20th Television, has also been renewed for a new season. John Wick fans were stoked to see Norman Reedus in Ballerina, even if it's only for a brief sequence. Thankfully, Len Wiseman is already campaigning for a sequel; he also wants Reedus to reprise his character.

Tracker spoilers and updates reveal Season 2 concluded with Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) discovering surprising information regarding his father’s death.
Yet, a new set of questions has emerged that may serve as a foundation for Season 3 of the popular CBS series; what insights does showrunner Elwood Reid provide about Season 3?
Reid Talked About Season Three
Recently, Elwood Reid, the showrunner of Tracker, talked to TV Line regarding Season 3. He was asked whether they intend to develop ongoing story arcs alongside the weekly cases.
His response was complex and suggests a lot of excitement, however, he began by warning that this is a “long season,” thus, they must “parcel” out some of the extended storyline. If everything is revealed too soon, “you’ve got nowhere to go.”
Next, he discussed an early episode from Season 2, titled “The Night Movers;” in this episode, Colter is searching for individuals and encounters someone who assists people in hiding.

Stop us if you've heard this one: a TV show about a stoic loner who wanders the country righting wrongs is burning up the streaming charts. But here's the twist: that show is not Prime Video's Reacher. Instead, Tracker, which just concluded its second season on CBS, is currently climbing the rankings on Paramount+. The series stars Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, a survivalist and tracker (of course) who earns a living as a "rewardist." The series is currently ranked #6 and rising among Paramount+'s top TV shows: on top is Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren's new crime drama, MobLand, while rookie soap opera Beyond the Gates, the just-renewed The Chi, Taylor Sheridan's new oater Landman, and venerable serial killer procedural Criminal Minds round out the top five.

Watson wrapped its 13-episode debut season with a Moriarty reveal that had fans buzzing, but CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach just delivered news more shocking than a Reichenbach Falls plunge: the Morris Chestnut-led Sherlock Holmes spinoff won't be back until January 2026. Following the recent finale of its inaugural season, Watson is taking some extra time off to prepare for his next case. CBS surprisingly left the new Morris Chestnut-led medical drama with a Sherlock Holmes twist off its fall schedule and will instead bring the series back in 2026. When it returns in January, it will also begin airing an hour later in the 10 p.m. slot. The delay means fans will have to wait just a bit longer to find out what comes next after Moriarty (Randall Park) met his end, and the network's Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach is opening up about why the hot new title is being left in the waiting room for the upcoming season.
Reisenbach spoke with Deadline after CBS unveiled its fall schedule to explain some of the final decisions made regarding the roster. Watson was a curious absence after the overall success of its first run.

Looking back at Tracker Season 2 years from now, when the successful series is into its eighth or ninth season because it’s poised for that kind of long-term run, how will we judge it?
It took on a much darker tone than Tracker Season 1, with cases that were borderline too much at certain times. And it struggled majorly to develop any character other than Colter or Reenie, but overall, it was a consistent season.
It entertained and showcased why CBS gave Justin Hartley the keys to lead a series that is currently the most watched on television.

But even though it was relatively fun and complex, it was far from perfect. Some of its issues from the first season only got worse, and some of its brighter spots were forgotten altogether.
