- Was shot in the temple by then boyfriend Grover Moran in 1974, who then committed suicide. Surgeons removed most of the bullet from her head but some pieces were not retrievable. The fragments in her brain have caused her lifelong seizures. The police claimed it was a suicide pact to the media, which it wasn't, which lead to the rumors that Kathy Hilton was dead. The seizures caused the end of Kathy's film and modeling career.
